Description
Our hostel is in the heart of Istanbul, in Taksim and very close to Galata Tower; which means we are in the center of the art, history and night life. So you will feel the pulse of old and new İstanbul by exploring vibrant streets, authentic places, museums and enjoy walking in Istiklal Avenue. We are so close to metro line, tram, bus and ferries (100-300 meters distance). We have one manager, one night shift receptionist, one barista, one cleaning lady.
Tram connection to Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia is so easy and convenient and if it is not rainy, we recommend you to go there by walking in 15 minutes; it will offer you a very nice Golden Horn view.
The common area of the hostel consists of a guest kitchen to enjoy our local breakfast and a cozy cafe where you can order drinks and desserts. The hostel also has a terrace with cozy chairs to enjoy an authentic view of the city.
We do not tolarete racist, sexist, homophobic, discriminatory, violent or aggressive behaviors in the hostel. Especially LGBTİ+ should apply for our hostel without any hesitation in their minds.
Types of help and learning opportunities
Hospitality/Tourism

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
We host travellers from all over the world. Practicing different languages, learning different cultures, helping to develop communication skills and of course Istanbul, will be plus for working with us.
Experiencing Istanbul like a local, getting recommendations on where to eat, drink and have fun, having a chance to travel with the guests, going to other cities are also part of the cultural exchange.
Projects involving children
This project could involve children. For more information see our guidelines and tips here.

Help
We're looking for someone who can help us at the reception, cleaning. Socializing with guests, going out, playing games, enjoying dinner parties and game nights are also expected. The duties will be determined with mutual decision just to be sure that both sides will be happy :)
IMPORTANT NOTES:
--- We're looking for someone who can stay *at least* one month. (NO EXCEPTION)
--- We were helping people who are affected by earthquakes in Turkey so we couldn't reply the messages last couple of weeks. Sorry for that.
Thank you for your understanding.
