Hey! We are a hostel in Pichilemu, Chile a quiet surf town just a few hours south of Santiago. After a few years working as a nurse, Andrea came to Pichilemu to start her adventure with the Hostal.
This is the result of a lot of team work, shared ideas, and good energy. The hostel itself is a beautiful house with 6 available rooms and 2 courtyards for hanging out and relaxing. We have a big common rom where we offer yoga and Pilates classes and when there aren’t classes there’s a TV with cable and video games for our guests to play with. We also have a room dedicated to massages and different kinds of therapies and healing: Psychology practice, Reiki, Biomagnetism, and family constellations.
Our service includes famous delicious breakfast with fresh made fruit juice, fresh baked bread, ham, cheese, butter, cereals, fruits, tea, honey, coffee and homemade cupcakes, cookies and treats. (Sometimes vegan!) We care about our guests’ special diets, allergies and intolerances and we encourage them to let us know so we can take that into consideration.
As you can see, we care about the environment and we believe in energy... If you identify with this way of living, you are welcome to volunteer with us! We have a great energy happening in the hostel, our guests, volunteers, workers and friends always hanging around the house confirms that.

Here you can practice Spanish or English, share interests, learn new things, use our fully stocked kitchen and spice cabinet. We have agreements with local surf schools and can help you get a good deal for surf classes or rentals. If you like learning and being in a good vibes environment, this is the place for you!
Our hostel is in an incredible house built in 1910. Because it’s an older house it requires some maintenance—we’re looking for help with remodeling, painting walls, gardening, reception, and general cleaning (sweeping, mopping, laundry, etc.). Bonus if you have work experience with social media/marketing or languages!
Our staff is learning English, but at this time the manager and permanent hostel workers speak Spanish and some French.
AS OF 17 MAY 2018: We are looking for creative individuals and teachers! Artists, photographers, and English teachers. Whatever your creative talent may be, we are looking for someone to paint some murals and take photos of our place. Let us know if you have these skills :) Also, we are open to any ideas you may have, so let us know!
Volunteers get a single bed in our 9-bed dorm with a shared bathroom and free breakfast!
Pichilemu is known worldwide for surfing! We’re only a short colectivo ride away to some famous surf spots like Punta de Lobos or Cahuil, a small town famous for its sea salt. This region of Chile is perfect for anyone who loves living on the beach, if you want to know more then you’ll have to come and see it for yourself.
