    Description

Hi our names are Laura and John. We live in a traditional thatched cottage on a stud farm . In the beautiful countryside of west Waterford by the sea, so lots of beeches to adventure on. We love our animals, we have a few horses and foals , calves, 3 dogs (2 dachshund lizzie and penny and Joker our funny Labrador) and 3 cats, Pringle, tayto and crunchie) . We grow a lot of our own veggies in our poly tunnel and we love to garden. Our family live around us and our house is always an open friendly home from home.

  • Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

Our local village often hosts theatre plays and is part of the Irish camino. Our local town has a large old historical importance. It plays hosts to cultural events during the year. Opera festivals in the summer. Markets. Maritime actives. Our own home boast over 500 years of history. We love looking at history and are more than happy to share or advise what’s of cultural interest. Our nearest city 45 mins away is steep in history and has been name cultural city of Europe in the past. It is also host to a jazz festival, galleries and international yacht regattas.

Someone who can help us in the mornings with the stable yard to muck out stables, tidy yard. groom horses, turn out horses, help to feed the horses. Competent horse rides may have the opportunity to ride out if they wish but they need to be advance riders. A little help with weeding the polytunnel. The odd occasion to help feed and move the calves.
