    Description

This is not just a bed and breakfast. This is only a part of the whole.
The B&B is used as a residency for artists and curators with whom I create, discuss and develop my projects.

The project: This is a long term artistic project created by the italian artist Roberto and curated by Elena

If you want to imagine it, it could be seen as a cargo ship, like a transporter of containers, in which every container is a little or big project.

The three main containers are a web tv, artistic residence and the bed and breakfast wich is the display of all these experiences.

    web tv:
It's web tv advances a new way to speak about contemporary art involving artists, creatives, and other figures to take part in an interview system and in some, kind of ,“challenges”.
IIt has two main pourposes; the first one is to soak in the art meanders to reveal its facets, the second one is to catch and reach out new audiences.

Transmitted on a Youtube Channel, through little pills telling something about the art world , this looks at the documentation of the art process breaking the mold of the conventional studio spaces, galleries and museums, to show the awareness of the artistic processes putting them into question.

    Artistic Residence:
The residence is settled in Pozzale di Cadore (BL) and it is aimed to the creation of works of art born from a dialogue between the invited artists and Roberto
Practices and different languages like mapping and relationship with the land, capacity to relate with a waste audience, reproducibility, sustainability and authorship of the work of art, will be some of the faced and developed themes throughout this project.

    Bed and breakfast:
It's the business that allows us to fund any other art project. We try as much as we can by following the philosophy of resilience. We have a bio-garden, we buy local food for breakfast and of course we use it as display for the art works.

In this contest each presented project made is purely experimental: and in some ways is similar to the scientific processes in which even the failure offers a step forward to the research of new thesis and hypotesies.
The issues dear to us could be defined by some key words or tags like exchange, dynamism, fluidity, ephemeral, versatility, precariousness, mobility, nomadism, migration, relation, community, decentralization, artistic residency, site specify.

It’s a project that focusses on the sustainability because looks forward to relate with some of those artistic business pratics with particular interest in reduced environmental impact projects

Roberto was born in Manheim (Germany) in 1977.
His artistic behavior is based on those objects that he resumes in his familiar environment or through the most known common channel of large distribution.
This kind of approach stems from the desire to handle mechanisms in a faster and more random way, the aesthetic surface and the choice of all the elements not nearly linked to the work of art.
Rapidity, that the artist recognizes as a value of his time, is more likely a way to open a challenge against him self, trough the work, starting from available things.

    Help

The help you can provide inside the project is flexible. It depends on two things: your skills and how much you are willing to learn.
The main help is about the bed and breakfast and the garden, especially during the summer season. The income coming from the hosting allows us to fund artistic project.
Those are the things where you can help even if you don't have experience but you are willing to learn:

    -cleaning house for hosting
    -welcoming and check-in guests
-manage the front-end and back-end of hosting: emailing registration communication
-gardening: there is a 50 square meters of biogarden
