    Description

Hi! I am Thomas, emigrated from Austria to Lapland in 2015. In 2019 I moved to my dream place. Here I live with my 18 sled dogs - Scandinavian hounds - on a 1ha property in the middle of nature. The longer you can stay the better.

My dogs are my hobby, I have 13 racing dogs and 5 retired. My dogs are the most important thing and everyone who comes here should love dogs!
Information about winter and autumn you find further bellow.

In summer from may untill august (training the dogs starts end or august or september) life is quite easy going here and you will find a lot of time for your own activities or studies (unlimited fast internet). Since I am full time working you will be at home alone during day time so you have to feel comfortable about that. Whoever comes here comes into the middle of nature, a paradise for nature lovers!

You can do excursions into the forest to collect blueberries, cranberries and mushrooms. There are several lakes nearby where you can paddle with my canoe. I like to go into the forest that is around our house, have barbecues by the river, like to ride the boat (canoe) and do everything that can be done here in nature.
You can use my bike, maybe take some dogs for longer walks or just enjoy all the facilities I have here like outdoor pool, sauna, several sunbathing plattforms to do Yoga or other workouts, use some of my music instruments.

Northern lights season will start middle of august.

My residential area is very snow reliable.
In winter you can go snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and, if you're lucky, see the Northern Lights here. You will help training the dogs and maybe get the chance to follow on the dogsled yourself.

In autumn and winter I need most help with the dogs and preparing the trails. That means feeding, training, repairing huts, shoveling snow out of the kennels, general snow removal. In summer and autumn, in addition to looking after the dogs, I need help with repairs, with building things, in the household and in the garden.

Strictly non smoker! You can not bring your own dogs.
