Description
Hi! We, Ingrid and Thomas emigrated from Austria to Lapland in 2015. In 2019 we moved to our dream place. Here we now live with our 17 sled dogs - Scandinavian hounds - on a 1ha property in the middle of nature. Our dogs are our hobby, we have a racing team and a few backup "players". Our dogs are the most important thing and everyone who comes to us should love dogs! The longer you can stay the better. We prefer someone who, if mutually compatible, can stay for the entire summer season.
Our residential area is very snow reliable. In winter you can go snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and, if you're lucky, see the Northern Lights here. In summer there are excursions into the forest to collect blueberries, cranberries and mushrooms. There are several lakes nearby where you can fish and paddle. Whoever comes here comes into the middle of nature, a paradise for nature lovers!
In autumn and winter we need help with the dogs. That means feeding, training, repairing huts, shoveling snow out of the kennels, general snow removal. In summer and autumn, in addition to looking after the dogs, we need help with repairs, with building things, in the household and in the garden.
We like to go into the forest that is around our house, have barbecues by the river, like to fish with our boat and do everything that can be done here in nature.
We only have room for one person! Only women are welcome! There are no exceptions either. Applications in German are preferred. You cannot bring your own dogs.

Hallo!
Types of help and learning opportunities
