    Description

Until the end of September, we have accommodation for a single person only. We are on 4 acres of gardens with a great variety of plant species; our gardens sweep down to the sea (see photo). There are a number of specimen trees. The Gardens are open to the public in the summer and include sculptures by notable Irish Artists.
We are looking for help with the gardens in the summer and autumn. The tasks vary from garden maintenance such as clearing, weeding, edging lawns, making paths and dead heading to more specific tasks like re-potting etc.
The accommodation house is shown in the photo and includes comfortable, heated rooms with ensuite facilities; and wifi. It is a separate building to the main house. It would be advisable to have your own transport as there is a lot of exploring to be done in West Cork and Kerry with great hikes and trails.
We have 4 dogs so please be a dog lover and we are happy to allow you to bring your dog with vaccinations etc up to date.

West Cork is a unique part of Ireland and has a large scope for people who enjoy walking, cycling and sea sports such as kayaking. This is part of the Wild Atlantic way and the Beara Peninsula has a number of well laid out walks which form the Beara Way. The gardens have a great variety of mature plants that are unique to this area and a lot to learn about the flora of this special landscape. We also run Galleries so you can learn about Irish art, Ceramics and sculpture.
