Description
People have said that coming to our little piece of Heaven in the Alberta Rockies is like stepping back into time, into the old west. If you like horses and have experience riding them , then this is a place you'll want to see.
Learn about western culture, and the relationships formed between cowboys/cowgirls and their horses; the relationship formed between humans and nature/wildlife. How we learn to co-exist in the Alberta back country.
Experience miles and miles of wilderness that we ride through, learn the habits, and habitats of the wild animals who live here, (Grizzly Bear, Cougar, Elk, Deer, Martin, Rabbit , and many more . Outfitters have been guiding people through this area for over a hundred years. Meet some of the men and woman who have taken pack trips through these mountain, helping people to learn and understand the beautiful creation of nature.
Our camp offers cabins and a dining lodge for people to come step back in time and stay for awhile. We would like someone to come help us share this experience with others. There would be cabins to clean after guest have left, and horses to care for and ride.
We are a family run place, and have "inherited" many new family members along the way. What a great place to meet new people and form lasting friendships.Types of help and learning opportunities

I was able to help out on the ranch, go horseback riding, laugh and meet a lot of great people.
Lorraine, Adrian, Gerald and Derryl are such incredibly warm and great people. The season was a bit over,… read more
