  Description

  We are a French-Italian couple who lives in a house in the middle of a garden full of oranges, lemons, fruits trees with a swimming pool, not far from the center of the city, Palermo.
  I’m French but I live in Sicily since a long time, I’m a touristic guide.
  Giorgio is an architect, he lived in Rome for a while and speaks a lot lof languages.
  We like traveling, meeting new persons and discovering their life. We are curious!
  
  
  Nous sommes un couple franco-italien qui vit dans une maison entourée d’un jardin plein d’agrumes, arbres fruitiers et autres avec piscine un peu à l’extérieur du centre de Palerme.
  Je suis française mais je vis en Sicile depuis de nombreuses années, je suis guide touristique. Giorgio est architecte, à vécu à Rome et parle de nombreuses langues.
  Nous aimons les voyages, les échanges, connaître de nouvelles personnes et découvrir leur monde.

  We live in Palermo, not far from the beach of Mondello and Sferracavallo.
  Palermo is an artistic and historical city very rich, there are a lot of things to discover and as a guide I could do some tour with the workawayer.
  
  
  Nous habitons à Palerme, un peu à l’extérieur du centre, pas très loin de la plage de Mondello et de Sferracavallo. Palerme est une ville très riche artistiquement et historiquement, il y a donc beaucoup à découvrir. Je suis guidé touristique donc je pourrais aussi accompagner éventuellement pour quelques visites.

  Help

  We are looking for a person who can help us for cleaning, restoring the house and garden.
  It will be an ordinary help for a house with a pool and a big garden with a lot of plants.
  We need somebody to paint, varnish, clean, tidy up things, weed, maintenance of the pool, house and garden.
  We want, of course, to know the person better and have a cultural and language exchange.
  
  Nous cherchons une personne qui puisse nous aider dans l’entretien de la maison et du jardin. Il s’agit de la manutention normale d’une villa avec piscine dans un jardin pourvu de beaucoup d’arbres fruitiers et autres.
  Il s’agit donc de peinture, vernissage, nettoyage, rangement, désherbage, entretien piscine par exemple.
  Nous souhaitons aussi échanger avec la personne dans sa langue ou la nôtre.

  We like to speak languages, English of course for both of us. Giorgio likes a lot to speak Spanish and Portuguese. Annick would want to speak again Spanish and learn Japanese. Nous aimons parler les langues étrangères, l’anglais bien sûr toujours très utile. Giorgio adore parler espagnol et portugais. Annick voudrait à nouveau parler espagnol et apprendre le japonais. Giorgio adore parler portugais et espagnol

  Accommodation

  Our house is big enough, the workawayer will have his bedroom (king size bed) with balcony and a bathroom. We will take the meals together, we cook French and Italian meals!
  
  Notre maison est assez grande, notre workawayer aura donc sa chambre (lit double) avec terrasse et une salle de bain à disposition. Nous prendrons les repas ensemble , cuisine italienne ou française !

  What else ...

  It’s very easy to go to the center because there is a train stop 5 minutes far from home. It’s the line coming from the airport and going to the central station.
  We have some bikes too and of course there is a bus passing every 20 minutes.
  The train is the best option to go to the center and in the central station going around others destinations in Sicily. We can give a lot of tips.
  
  Les workayers pourront aller facilement au centre ville car il y a un train qui s’arrête à 5mn de la maison. C’est la ligne aéroport-gare centrale. Nous avons aussi des bicyclettes disponibles. Et puis bien sûr il y a également des bus qui passent assez régulièrement. Le train est certainement la meilleure option pour aller au centre et de la gare centrale vers d’autres destinations en Sicile. Nous saurons bien évidemment donner de nombreux conseils.
