Description
This is a working agricultural farm combined with a touristic holiday resort with horses, located in the North of Germany close to the city of Rostock - we breed Criollos, the native horse of the Pampas and take our guests on rides through nature. We offer holiday apartments, horse riding, cattle work and a very authentic rural atmosphere inspired by Uruguay.

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
One of the owners is originally from Uruguay, and the spirit of the place is deeply shaped by South American rural life, horses, wide open spaces, and a close connection to nature.
Because of this, many people from South America — especially Uruguay, Argentina, and Chile — often feel an immediate sense of familiarity here, particularly if they love the countryside, horses, and riding.
At the same time, we warmly welcome helpers from Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, and all over the world, as long as they genuinely enjoy rural life, nature, animals, and spending time outdoors.
What truly matters to us is not where you come from, but who you are and how you live:
- you enjoy the rhythm and simplicity of life in the countryside
- you feel at home around horses and love riding
- you are comfortable living and working in a small, open-minded, international community
If you feel a deep connection to land, animals, and an authentic way of life close to nature, you will find not just a place to help here — but a place to belong.

What we are looking for
We are looking for support for our small, very rustic, Uruguayan-style restaurant.
Working hours are Friday and Saturday evenings. These hours are paid on an hourly basis (more than the German minimum wage). For this position, good German language skills are required, as you will be in contact with guests.
In addition, we are looking for someone to help with our horses (experience with horses required, we have a main guide, but she needs assistance with daily care) and to support the maintenance and cleaning of our holiday apartments.
In exchange, you will have many opportunities to ride horses and to experience everyday life on a working agricultural and touristic farm.
The stay is possible from one week before Easter (end of March) until October 31st. It is important that the person lives on-site during this period. We offer a private bedroom on our farm, not shared with others.
We are looking for someone reliable, friendly, and happy to work with guests in a relaxed rural environment.
To volunteer and work with us, you need to have a valid work visa / work permit for Germany, as well as an health insurance that covers your stay in Germany.
