Description
I (35) live in a small house with a garden on a charming hill in Vienna, where I currently have 340,001 roommates – 340,000 bees and one cat!
It's a 15-20 min walk (6 min by bike) to the nearest subway station (15 min to the city center) or 400m to the closest bus stop. The Wienerwald forest is nearby, perfect for nature lovers. The neighborhood is peaceful, situated at the end of a dead-end street.
I was self-employed for 7,5 years and am currently on educational leave, which means I have more flexibility than someone with a typical 9-5 job. We can work on some projects together, but there will also be times when I may need you to work solo.
I speak German, English, Spanish, and a little French, so we can communicate in whichever language you’re most comfortable with. If you're interested, I’m happy to recommend the best spots for sightseeing, where to try a traditional Schnitzel or the famous Sachertorte (chocolate cake - a little overrated in my opinion ;) ), and suggest some great museums or places for a night out.
A trial stay: As this is my first time hosting through Workaway, I’d like to start by offering a short stay for a few days to see how things go.Types of help and learning opportunities

I’m passionate about traveling, discovering new cultures, and trying different foods ;) Hosting Workawayers is a great way for me to share these experiences and learn from others in return. If you have a unique skill or passion, I’d love to learn from you too!
As a co-founder of five companies, I have a lot of experience in entrepreneurship and business development, which I’m happy to share if you’re interested. I can also offer insights into Austrian/European culture, recommend must-see/must-eat/must-drink/must-dance-at places in Vienna.
While I live in a quiet neighborhood, Vienna’s vibrant cultural scene is close by.Help
Built in 1975, my house is one of the first precast homes. I moved here 1,5 years ago and am falling more in love with it every day. Since then, I’ve been working on making it more comfortable and beautiful, but there are still plenty of projects left to tackle. Like organizing the garage, painting rooms, dismantling a cupboard,... - and showing some love to the garden, which is in need of a little more care. If you have experience with permaculture and/or garden planning - I'd be down.
What I’m looking for: Organizational skills, painting, small carpentry jobs, and maybe permaculture knowledge. I’ll also need your help with general cleaning and gardening. It’s important that you’re comfortable working independently, as I may be busy with other tasks or studying.Languages spoken

You’ll have your own room with a single bed, cupboard, desk, and a lovely view. We’ll share the bathroom, toilet, kitchen, and living room.
I will stock the fridge with mostly organic, vegan food (+ eggs, butter, and occasionally chicken). While I won’t cook for you every day, I’m happy to share meals whenever I’m cooking and have the time. What else ...
