I stayed at Nina's farm for 5 days. She is an open-minded person who welcomes everyone. Staying here really feels like home, because she shares her life with you and treats you like as if you have known each other for a long time. The work I did was absolutely okay and I was flexible in choosing my working times. I would definitely recommend to

I stayed at Nina's home at the beginning of September and spent a fabulous week in the countryside surrounded by nature, her three adorable dogs, horses and beautiful landscapes and places.
This week allowed me to experience another place to live, another reality than my own, far from my city.
My work consisted mainly of painting the ceiling,

Nina is a courageous woman, very independent, energetic and full of experience. She has been a real example and like a mother to me. She advised me about beautiful spots to visit in the area that I could walk or bike.
My only regret is that unfortunately, I could not ride or take care of the horses due to my lack of experience and lack of time for Nina. But I'm still thankful for everything, there was plenty to do!
Thank you again Nina, for allowing me to have my first Workaway and unforgettable experience.
I highly recommend to stay with Nina if you want to live a rich experience close to nature, better know the horses!
My best wishes for the future,

I stayed at Nina's place for two weeks in winter and definitely enjoyed my stay, though I think I came at quite a difficult time where there was some trouble.
After only a couple of days in which she showed me what to do Nina left for about four days. And although one of her studying daughters came to help I was amazed at how much she trusted us
… read more with watching the house and caring for the animals. We didn't do everything perfectly (e.g. not fireing the oven enough, sorry about that :-) but overall I think we did quite well.
My biggest problem was getting used to working and living with Nina instead of her daughter again as I had already built up some "routines" during the time she'd been gone. Sometimes I did feel a little lost when Nina was just explaining a task to me and then her phone would ring and she'd be on the phone for a very long time with me not really knowing what to do in the meantime. I do think that that was mainly due to the time I've been there as I said, so I can understand.
Apart from that I really fell in love with your dogs and horses (especially Campari and Daria) and enjoyed going riding almost every day, sometimes twice and seeing your beautiful scenery from horseback.
The work was also not too hard and quite various (e.g. feeding the horses and dogs, mucking out, occasionaly doing some household tasks, some firewood, sorting books).
I also appreciate how you tried to make my stay as good as possible. Thank you for everything! You can only contact Workawayers who have an active membership.

I stayed at Ninas place for 6 weeks and it was just amazing. I got to enjoy really nice conversations about everything life has to offer with Nina, who is an incredible independent women.
My work was mainly to muck the meadow, prepare the food for the 7 horses and keep the house clean, so it was never (too) much for me to do.
Her 3 dogs are also

Her house lays in a beautiful nature where you can enjoy the beach, the mountains, waterfalls and the sun, so if you like the nature you won't miss anything!
I highly recommend going to Nina as you can just be positively influenced by her amazing attidude and for me it was a big win, that I got to meet her.You can only contact Workawayers who have an active membership.

I stayed with Nina for almost two weeks. Nina is a very strong, independent and wise woman. We shared so many good conversations about human relationships and life in general. Thank you for being so honest and showing me so much trust. During my stay I also met some of her friends and family, they're all very nice and including people.
My main
… read more work was to build a fence around the running track for the horses. A very physical task, but I highly enjoyed it. I also helped out around the house and with the horses and stable. The six horses and three dogs are all very cute and with so much character, it was wonderful to observe them. The landscape around the house is beautiful. You got the forest, the lake, some small mountains and heaps of wavy fields.
Thank you so much for hosting me and making me gain so much new knowledge. I would really recommend this place.

Nina hosted me for two weeks in November. I got to know the Norwegians as kind and warmhearted people and so were Nina! She was simply a really good host.
The work was all around the horses and the stable. Feeding, getting them in and out, cleaning the tack... It was never too much and most the time I worked together with Nina.
The six horses
… read more were all really nice and I had the chance to ride everyday and go for lovely hacks up in the hills or to the beach which is just a few minutes away.
I am really thankful for the days I could spend together with Nina, the horses and of course the three lovely dogs that I already miss to have around me.
I can highly recommend to stay at Ninas place if you like to be around horses and in the nature.
Thanks for hosting me, giving me the chance to see all the beautiful landscape from the back of the horses and the wonderful days I had in Norway!Live on a small Norwegian farm surrounded by mountains and a lake in Nesflaten, Norway
