    Description

Hi, Myself and my partner live on a beef and sheep farm in the middle of Ireland. We also have a large garden and grow alot of our own produce. This year we have expanded the garden and use only chemical free organic practices.
We are currently undertaking some projects on the farm such building a glasshouse from recycled materials. There would also be opportunities to get involved in traditional crafts such a hedge laying and drystone walling. In spring time the farm is very busy during lambing season and this is a time of the year we are ideally seeking an extra pair of hands. Experience with sheep is beneficial but not essential. An open mind and willingness to get stuck in what we are looking for. Accommodation is provided with the family house.

We are an open minded couple who love to travel and have completed workaways as volunteers over the years.
I have a background in horticulture and happy to share knowledge in crop production and growing food sustainably. My partner has many years experience in farming and is open to sharing skills and knowledge he possesses.
We live within 1km from a medium sized town with access to most amenities there and public transport. Tipperary is a great location to travel to other parts of the country with lots of tourist destinations .
Arrangements can be made to borrow one of our vehicles.
