Description
Hi! Let's talk! We are currently looking for someone to help us with the WEBSITE (Wordpress, SEO, blog posts, graphic designs). And we need volunteers from December to help at the Yoga studio with classes and events, but also with social media and marketing. We always need content creators - photo & video + edit. But don't hesitate to message us anytime - we are open to talk about possibilities and new ideas.

We are a Yoga studio in Tangalle. Our place is located just two minutes from the beach.
The yoga studio is based at the roof terrace at one of the buildings and volunteers are welcome to join all classes. We also do free group silent meditation practice. If you would like to participate at any Yoga events just reach out. Yoga teachers and yoga practitioners are always welcomed. And upon request and availability we offer free classes for all Volunteers and Couchsurfers even if you do not do a work exchange with us. Just let us know you interested.

We are providing a safe space on a great location right next to the beach. In between working hours you can relax on the beach, get to know the local atmosphere or engage in group activities with other volunteers. We can also provide you free yoga classes during your stay.

Accommodation
Option 1: Accommodation is a private room within a local home stay, conveniently located just a two-minute walk from the yoga studio. The house offers two individual rooms with shared common areas including a kitchen with all the essentials, living room, dining space and bathroom.
Option 2: Accommodation will be with a lovely local family, in your own little house that is separated from the family’s main house. A cozy space the size of a room, with a spacious bathroom attached and your own beautiful little patio area at the front of the house where you can have breakfast and/or dinner. You will also have access to a small kitchen where you can make your tea / meals if necessary. The home stay is a 2 min walk away from the yoga shala and only a 5 min walk to the beach.
Volunteers will be provided with two meals during their stay: a continental breakfast and a local dinner normally consisting of rice and curry. Complimentary drinking water is also included.
Wi-Fi access is available for free.

In your time off you can visit nearby surfing spots, Buddhist temples such as Mulkirigala Rock Monastery or Big Buddha, Sunday local markets or take a kayak to Tangalle lagoon.
