Description
Good morning, my name is Leandro, I’m 25 years old and I’m from Bronte, a town in the province of Catania, in Sicily. I have a degree in Sports Science and I train every day by running and lifting weights at the gym. I’m very passionate about sports in general, so if you're into sports too, I’m sure we’ll get along really well.
My family consists of four people: my 22-year-old brother Andrea and our parents. The house where we would host guests is the same one we live in. It’s a four-story home, very spacious, with a garden outside. I speak English fluently, while my parents and my brother know a few words in English but aren't able to hold a full conversation — but I’m always around and happy to help with translations if needed.
In recent times, I’ve developed a strong interest in learning languages. With English I’ve managed to learn and improve over the years, but I would also love to practice and learn other languages such as Spanish and French. That’s another reason why I enjoy hosting people from abroad — it gives me the opportunity to speak different languages at home and learn directly from real conversations.
In addition, I’d be very happy to host someone who enjoys photography or videography as a hobby. We live in an area surrounded by pistachio trees and beautiful Sicilian landscapes, and I would love to capture these moments of daily life and traditions. The pistachio harvest happens every two years (next one is in September), and it would be wonderful to have someone here who likes taking photos or short videos to keep as memories and maybe share online. There’s no need to be a professional — just creativity and enthusiasm are more than enough.
This is a completely non-profit family project, meant only as a cultural and creative exchange, not as professional work.
It would be great to host people who have a positive outlook on life — not the kind of people who like to argue or create problems. In our family, we enjoy laughing and joking around every day, so a negative attitude wouldn’t really fit with our way of life.Types of help and learning opportunities

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
I can teach a bit of Italian to anyone who’s interested. The town where I live has about 20,000 inhabitants, so there isn’t much to do in the evenings. My suggestion would be to join the same gym I go to here in Bronte — I already know many young people there, and I’d be happy to introduce them to future guests.
Anyway, Catania is just a 50-minute drive from Bronte. It’s a big city with plenty of things to do, both during the day and at night. I often go there with my friends to dance and have fun, and I’d love to take my guests with me when I go. I’m a very friendly person and always in a positive mood.Help

The idea is simply to take some photos or short clips of daily life, our family, and the beautiful countryside, which we can keep as memories and maybe share online.

Lately, I’ve developed a strong interest in learning new languages. However, since I don’t have much free time, I’ve never had the chance to really practice languages like Spanish or French. With English, instead, I’ve managed to learn it over time. I would love to host someone here with whom I could occasionally speak another language.Accommodation
The house where I live is very large, with a total of four floors. On one of the floors, I can host a couple — there’s a large bed for two people and a private bathroom just for them. This floor also has its own separate entrance, so guests staying there can come and go independently.
As for meals, we don’t really have enough time to cook for other people on a regular basis. Also, since we often host people from different cultures, eating habits can vary a lot. So it’s something we’d need to discuss directly with the guest and decide together. What else ...
In your free time, you’re free to do whatever you like — whether that means staying at home or going out, it’s completely up to you. Coming home late in the evening is not a problem at all for me or my family.
There are also buses that connect Bronte to Catania, which is the nearest big city. I can give you some tips on the main places worth visiting in Sicily, such as Mount Etna, Taormina, Syracuse, and Palermo.
The only rules I kindly ask to be respected throughout the entire stay are:
Hygiene: Please keep your room clean at all times. Open the window a few times a day to let in fresh air and maintain a healthy environment.
Smoking and drinking: These are allowed only outside the house. Inside the house, smoking and drinking are strictly forbidden.A little more information
