Description
We're on a small farm in Galatea, Bay of Plenty. An hour away from Rotorua and Whakatane.
We run a dairy support unit with young animals, and rear calves in the spring, Jul. - Nov.
We love our little slice of paradise with lots of outdoor things to do. The Te Uruwera National Park is the back boundary of our farm.
Stunning views from the hills at the back.
Beautiful walkways in the bush, local lake, and a bit further away in the Whirinaki Forest Park.
Hunting and fishing if a favorite pastime for many locals.
We have a beautiful garden with lots of trees around the house, small swimming pool, and a nice veg garden that provide for most of our needs.

We need help from builders with experience in building to help with a large new calfshed/barn to be built.
This may start from about mid January when all the building timber etc. gets delivered.
Also to make partitions for walls between pens.
Hang gates on poles.
Outside cladding/corrugated iron sheets.
Also need to pour an area of concrete for milk vats to be placed on. Old concrete must be removed, area prepared for new pour.
This project is quite exact, and fine detail has to be given to all aspects. One mismeasurement can mean major work to undo.
This project may take some weeks to complete, but needs to be done by May/June.
HJ is undergoing shoulder surgery mid Feb., so will only be available for moral support and cheering from the sideline watching Paul work his magic in building this new shed.Languages spoken

Would appreciate some contribution to food if vegetarian or vegan diet is followed. Also help in cooking these meals.
We have a limited WiFi data cap, so extended use of Wifi for watching movies online would probably not work too well.
Contributions to internet plan would be great if we run out of data on a regular basis. What else ...
