  Description

  We are a top kitesurfing school in Punta Chame (Panama), where we welcome local and international kiters during the windy season (December – April).
  
  In our kite school, we offer kitesurfing classes, rent out and sell kite material and offer all needed facilities to kiters. We also have a restaurant and lodging for our guests and locals.
  
  Our location right on the beach, makes our school location ideal for all level of kiters and for those who just want to watch or relax at our hangout area. During the week it is mostly calmer, so that you have enough free time to practice your Spanish and work on your kite skills – no matter what level you are. On the weekends it gets particularly busy with kite members, classes or rentals, so that we need here mostly your help.
  
  Therefore, we are looking for proactive, flexible and hands-on volunteers to create a great place and atmosphere for everyone. You will be part of our family of international volunteers and receive three vegan meals per day, free accommodation and the opportunity to learn or to improve your kiting skills.

  Volunteers will experience the life of a community which consists of locals, expats and tourists from all over the world. Working together with locals provides a great opportunity for you to learn or improve your Spanish.

• 

  Help

  We are generally looking for people to help us with various tasks at our kitesurfing spot and create a cheerful atmosphere for our guests. The tasks will depend on the current needs which depend on the wind, kite class and cabanja bookings, amount of other volunteers and your personal preferences. We try to meet your preferences, but also expect some flexibility.
  
  The tasks are divided between the different hospitality services e.g. helping in the kitchen to prepare our family meals as we have all three meals together, taking care of the cabanjas, helping in the kite school (handing out of kite material, providing information about the school/spot/offers, launching & landing kites etc.), but there are always also different projects to pick up (maintenance, decoration, yoga, etc). We are always happy for your own suggestions.
  
  Our spots for the regular tasks are already full for this season, but we are currently looking for people who can help us for the following tasks - short term stays possible:
  
  _Help on various art & painting projects as we are rebranding our spot corresponding to the new logo. Open projects are e.g. sinage boards in the school/chill area, makeover of lockers which could be also a graffiti as the surface is pretty big
  _Design skills for a new lounge area & redesign of the current areas incl. light

  Accommodation

  In the high season until April we provide you your own personal tent with comfortable mattresses and if cabanas are free you can make use of these. Thanks to the wind sleeping in the tents is comfortable during the night. In the off season, you will be able to join a room in the bus.
  
  You can use the shared bathrooms and even the shared kitchen of our bus where the kite instructors live, if you would like e.g. your own snacks.

  In your time off you can enjoy our beautiful kite spot, improve your Spanish skills, discover the village live with an international bar where tourists, expats and locals get together, party & enjoy concerts.
  
  It is also possible to discover more of the beautiful country as our spot is close to Panama City, Valley de Anton, surf spots and many more sights. There is a little bus coming in and out from our small beach town every hour during the day to the main road, at the town of Bejuco. From there it is easy to catch a bus in various directions.
