Description
We are a happy family consisting of two parents and five children: two boys (students who are only home on weekends and during the summer) and three girls aged 8, 10, and 15. We also have a cat (Maine Coon) and a small dog (Toy Poodle) at home.
Dad works from home Monday to Friday as a programmer, while Mom works as a doctor in a nearby hospital 2 days a week, rest home-office. We try to spend as much time together as possible and enjoy being with each other. Our kids are our precious treasures and bring a lot of joy to our lives!
We would like to welcome volunteers to stay with us and share their life experiences with us and our children. We are members of a Christian community, and our faith guides our choices. We also raise our children according to biblical principles and a widely understood respect for humanity and life.
Some additional facts about us: our relatives live nearby; we mostly eat at home; we strive to maintain a healthy lifestyle (including cooking, sports, and life balance); there is no TV in our home; it is a smoke-free environment (and no drugs at all), with no abusive behaviors or pets; Wi-Fi is available; and our house is nice, cozy, and clean, as we try to keep it organized.
We live in a small, charming market town in the Silesia region of southern Poland, just a few kilometers from the border with the Czech Republic. The area is safe and quite calm, making it nice for walks, running, and biking, especially in spring and autumn. In winter, we experience some smog issues, but we have our own ways to enjoy outdoor life, such as walks in the forest. There are various activities happening around town, creating a great environment for children and a peaceful place to live.
We would be happy to share with our guests our skills in cooking, cake baking, learning, worldwide travel experiences, skiing, snowboarding, biking, wakeboarding, wing chun kung fu and much more!Types of help and learning opportunities

Help
We're primarily looking for help with our three girls, particularly in teaching (especially languages) and creative playtime. Because of this, we're looking specifically for female workawayers who can connect with our girls. We also need someone who can assist with cooking and preparing family meals. We can be flexible with the schedule, and there’s no need to work during the weekends, although you are welcome to join our family activities. The house is kept clean with the help of external support.
We want our volunteers to feel like members of the family. Why do we need this? Because we cannot "afford" to have "guests" in the house. We are quite busy with our work and daily routine, striving to maintain a harmonious lifestyle, which is important to us (though that doesn’t mean we aren’t spontaneous!). Therefore, our volunteer must feel at home: they should know where to find things or be willing to ask (keep asking!), have initiative, and not be shy. Questions like "Can I help?" or "Can I do this?" are always welcome. Please be helpful and feel free to join in any activities or meals.
We also understand that respecting each other's privacy is necessary.
We welcome our volunteer for a stay of 1-2 weeks with us.
Please feel free to ask any further questions about us or the lifestyle we lead.

We live in a spacious house with a big garden and a big pool. Our guest will live in an own room, which can be made private (doors can shut). Bathrooms are shared with the rest of the family.
What else ...
There is a train station/bus station next town which connects you to main cities in the region.
Just an example of interesting places to visit by train: 3 hours to Krakow, 3 hours to Wroclaw, 3 hours to Prague, 3 hours to Vienna, 4 hours to Warsaw. There are many small activities around that can be interesting as well as trying to find out about our local customs and culture.
In the free time our guests can take a chance of a nice area for running, bike riding, horse riding nearby; going to the swimming pool, activities depend on the interests of the guest and seasons.A little more information
