***Update: We are actively welcoming workawayers for our 2025-2026 Fall, Winter, and Spring planting season. Ideally you have experience in permaculture, working on ecological projects with a deep interest in syntropic agroforestry. Bonus points for couples or duos who can stay for longer periods of time. Ability to speak or learn Italian is a bonus as well as habgina dn EU or international drivers permit. Please send us a message if you are interested to learn more.

Welcome to Sicily! We are a network of family farms and regenerative projects in mainly on the west coast of the island with the main site as a 6 hectare land with an established olive orchard, wine vineyard. We are smanaging a young 2 hectare syntropic agroforestry system and a permaculture food forest sanctuary in the commune of Castellammare del Golfo and need your help.

We are growing moringa, avocados and other tropical fruits like mangos and more temperate types like almonds and hazelnuts to pioneer a mixed Mediterranean consortium of preferred plants

We are just minutes from the beautiful coast and the popular tourist destination of Scopello. There are many places to explore around the area like the Segesta hot springs, and Palermo city is just an hour away.

We are looking for people who are passionate about syntropic agroforestry, permaculture, holistic grazing, and digital technology who can stay from 2 weeks to 3 months.

Meals can be made in the guest suite that comes with a kitchen or shared with the farm family.

Palermo Is about an hour drive away. There's also buses and trains from Castellammare del Golfo if you want skip the traffic.

Drivers license and ability to drive manual stick shift are a big bonus as we are in the countryside and driving is a necessity.

Having your own car is a big bonus.

Speaking Italian is also very helpful as most of the locals don't speak much English. However the main partners in the project are bilingual in English.
