  Hello, my name is Himal, and I’m passionate about community development, sustainability, and cultural exchange. I'm currently working on an exciting project in Gajul, a village development committee in Rolpa District, Lumbini Province, Nepal. Our project combines education, agriculture, and innovation to uplift our local community. Our primary focus is on planting crops and developing sustainable agricultural practices. Alongside this, we engage with children at our community school, where we teach them not only about agriculture but also exchange knowledge on languages, cultures, and innovation.
  
  We also have ongoing construction projects to build homes and community spaces. This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in contributing their skills in construction, teaching, or farming. You’ll be part of a diverse team, and together we’ll share ideas, learn from each other, and create lasting positive change.

  Help

  We are seeking volunteers to join our community development project in Gajul, Nepal. You'll assist with planting crops, teaching at our community school (you’ll be working alongside local teachers and not leading classes alone), and engaging in language and cultural exchanges. Additionally, we’re building homes for the community and exploring renewable energy solutions. You’ll work on diverse tasks, share skills, and learn from each other in a supportive environment.

You’ll have the opportunity to teach English or your native language to local children and community members while also learning Nepalese from us.   We provide a private room with a bed, ensuring a clean and secure place to rest. You’ll live like a local, fully immersed in the authentic Nepalese lifestyle. We offer three meals a day—breakfast, lunch, and dinner—prepared with fresh ingredients and traditional recipes typical of Nepalese households. This is a wonderful opportunity to experience our way of life firsthand and enjoy the warmth and hospitality of our community.
