  • Description

Hello human beings, my name is Yogesh. Me and my family are looking for exchange of cultures and knowledge of any kind. Whatever you can do, we are curious to learn from you.

What we can offer in exchange:
We are a joint family of 10 members including kids, living very basic without television, fridge etc.
Our farm land of 2.5acre is situated 80 km from Pune, 240 km from Mumbai.
It is a natural dynamic organic farm, growing lots of different fruits like Banana and Papaya, different crops, lentils, sugarcane and much more. We work on soil improvement using biodiversity. There are also native cows, buffalos and goats. Have you ever tried milk that you have been milking with your own hands?

Our home is built with stone, mud and wood. We still work on it, so you can also get an insight in ecofriendly building. Furthermore, the nearby village has very old traditional construction called "wada". The shepherd community grazes their sheep on the hillside, so you can see them carrying around 50 sheep on the road every day.
Most surroundings are dry land, you will spot many dryland birds and even water birds nearby. Once you are here, we can do a bird watching tour together. We might also spot hyna, wolf, fox and rabbits.

After 15 years working in pharma industry, I am now finally living a medicine free life using a healthy and natural lifestyle.Today, I also work on lifestyle disorders and reverse them by natural living. Moreover, I work on vital body parameters to maintain it. If you are interested in these topics, we can possibly learn something from each other.

We are looking foreward to hear from you.

  • Help

Volunteers can help us with organic farming, weeding, sowing, harvesting.
Work is also to do on the construction of our home.
Moreover, you can teach our kids , for example in English, arts, drama, music, yoga or whatever you can do.
Another thing would be to make public awareness regarding sustainability among villagers.
Creative writing and social media awareness are further possibilities.

As you see, there are many ways in which you can help us and grow yourself in a healthy, natural surrounding.
