  Description

  My husband Stefan and I moved to Gradoli, Italy, high above lago di Bolsena about 10 years ago. Our purpose and dream being based on two pillars:
  Preserving nature and sharing this beautiful place to give people time and space for what they find essential.
  
  We are realizing this dream through welcoming guests in our small RETREAT, in peacefulness, pure, beautiful nature, simple and honest architecture, delicious local food and well chosen treatments and activities.
  Furthermore we run an ORGANIC FARM with olive trees, fruit trees, a few donkeys and goats :) and an old vineyard that we are currently restructuring.

  We have been working with people from different parts of the world for the last 2 years and love working and living togehter, It has been a precious experience for us and the travellers.
  Here you will experience true rural life in the country side, small italian villages surround a volcanic area that is rich of prehistoric history. You will discover a different pace of life, embedded in the rythm of nature; sunset to sunrise, rain, wind, moon phases all determine our work on the fields here.

  Help

  We are looking for people who come live and work with us in exchange to lodging and meals.
  
  Here are the types of work:
  If you have experience in driving and working with a tractor and different kinds of grass cutters, vineyards, fields, olive fields etc. need to be worked regularly.
  
  Green pruning of the vineyard as well as harvesting grapes and olives are done by hand and we can teach you.
  
  Cleaning vineyards and gardens from herbs and grass to give the plants space to grow is another regular activity.
  
  We have 5 animals that need to be taken care of daily.
  
  My husband will be undergoing surgery and we would appreciate help as from now (May) and in the coming months.
  A minimum stay of 1 week makes sense. Longer would be preferable.

  Accommodation

  Accommodation will be in our retreat in a beautiful old villa overlooking lago di Bolsena. We have 5 carefully decorated double rooms with shared bathrooms, that we are also offering to our guests. You can find fotos on instagram or online.
  
  We will eat together in the large kitchen or outside. Breakfast, lunch and dinner. Fruit, snacks etc. is always availabel.

  What else ...

  We have an open house and like to spend time together while at the same time we appreciate your and our privacy to retreat and have time on your own.
  We have always arranged for people to also explore the surrounding and sites. We are at Lago di Bolsena between Rome and Siena in a rural area.
  
  We are a non smoking house. All our animals stay outside, not inside the house.

  We do have wifi. Do not expect super high speed, but I have been working online from home for years and it is a great combination. The rooms all have a desk that can be used to work.
