Description
My partner and I live in a small wooden cabin in the forest with our 5 year old daughter, and another due in Feb 2024. Our cozy home is situated in the heart of the Garden route in a small town called Natures Valley: gently nuzzled between mountains, ocean and estuary. It's the kind of place that does not let you take it for granted. With 2nd kiddo on the way, we are seeking a nature loving, kind and compassionate human to help ease us into this next phase.

Natures Valley is considered the jewel of the Garden Route and for good reason. It's one of the very few residential areas that exist within a national park. We often have bush buck in garden for hours at a time, and the only thing separating us and the 3km pristine beach is a forested dune. We are a conscious family who endeavour to live a life in harmony with the natural world - if time and interest permits, there will be an opportunity to get involved with a community waste-to-resource project, which aims to inspire a shift towards living a life in circularity.

Help
Work would include, but not be limited to helping with morning routines, possibly taking our 5 year old to school, hanging out with her, doing grocery shopping missions, helping with cooking/meal prep. Will most probably entail 2 hours in the morning and 3 in the afternoon.

We have a rustic yet comfy cabin at the back of our property with its own private back area with braai. we are in the process of equipping it with basic outdoor cooking amenities, but we are happy to include our workawayers in our family meal plans.
What else ...
Natures Valley is an absolute wonder for any nature lover. The raw and untouched nature is literally at our doorstep, there are loads of hikes around the area, a 3km beach and a pristine estuary/lagoon. There is a beautiful little restaurant called Blue Rocks Cafe as well a convenience store 1.5kms away. Further a field, the Crags area boasts world class tourist activities incuding animal sanctuaries and nature based adventure experiences, plenty of quaint little farmstalls with good coffee and vibes as well as wine farms if youre into that kind of thing. If you feel for a backpacker vibe frequented by likeminded travellers, Wild Spirit is just up the pass from us. They offer many kinds of holistic healing workshops and just an all round wholesomely good time.
