  Description

  I live on 8 acres in the mountain next to public land only 10 km away from the sea, perfect mix of forest an maritime vibes. My neighboors and I farm our food ; vegetable, fruits, meat rabbits, chickens, pigs, dairy goats, hens, either individually or collectively.
  
  I'm also very fond of gathering food from the wild, I like to roam in the forest at the end of the day to see whats ready to harvest...mushrooms, berries, shoots, etc.
  
  I'm a builder, constantly improving my systems and set ups. I love to learn and share knowledge. I grew up on a family farm, studied theatre, building, sewing, permaculture and recently became a cetified plumber ! Now exploring forestry :)
  If you like to live close to nature and are into homesteading and off grid living, this is a suited place for you. The neighborhood is full of creative and ressourceful people !
  
  I spend my summers in the forest on a 3-acre plot of land in the mountains, near public lands and only 10 km from the sea. I grow my own food on a communal plot and explore the surrounding forest foraging for mushrooms, berries, and shoots. If you enjoy living close to nature and are interested in self-sufficiency and an off-grid lifestyle in a small, isolated community, you'll find what you're looking for here. Our little village is a patchwork of resourceful people!
  
  
  Je passe mes été dans la foret sur une terre de 3 acres située en montagne près des terres publiques et à seulement 10 km de la mer. Je cultive ma nourriture sur un terrain collectif et j'explore la foret environnante pour cueillir des champignons, des baies et des pousses. Si tu apprécie vivre près de la nature et que tu t'interesse à l'autosuffisance et au mode de de vie off grid dans une petite communauté isolée, tu trouveras ton bonheur ici. Notre petit village est une courte-pointe d'ingénieux débrouillards !

  Depending on the projects of the moment, you could learn and experiment permaculture design, gardening, raising livestock, gathering food from the wild, building, sewing, butchering, water management, forestry and participate in community activities at our collective barn. I like to taylor the experience according to each person's strenghts and interests. The local culture is all about living between mountain and sea ; fishing, sailing, fires on the beach, hiking, canoeing and mountain biking.
  
  Selon les projets du moment, tu pourrais apprendre sur le design de permaculture, le jardinage, l'élevage, la cuillette sauvage, la construction, la couture, la boucherie, la foresterie, la gestion de l'eau et participer aux activités qui ont lieu à la notre grange collective. J'aime concevoir une expérience taillé sur mesure pour chaque personne en tenant compte de ses forces et de ses interets.  La culture locale est teinté de la vie entre mer et montagne ; la pêche, la voile, les feux sur la plage, la rando, le canot et le velo de montagne.

  I would appreciate help with a variety of small projects and occasional farm work. My main projects at the moment are gardening and caring for the animals, small construction projects, clearing brush, and planting trees. Sharing meal preparation is always appreciated too!
  
  J'apprécierais un coup de main sur une panoplie de petits projets et du gardiennage de ferme à l'occasion. Mes principaux projets en ce moment sont le jardin et les animaux, de petits projets de construction, couper de la broussaille et planter des arbres. Partager la préparation des repas est aussi toujours apprécié !

  Accommodation

  I have a few options to suggest. In the summer, I prefer living in my 14'x16' prospector tent. I'm addicted to the birdsong, the wind in the trees, and the sound of rain drumming on the canvas. If you enjoy forest life and deluxe glamping, you could stay there too; it's big enough to share.
  
  You can also bring your own tent; I have some available.
  I also have a 7'x7' tiny house with a single bed, electricity, and cooking facilities.
  My tiny house will be occupied by a friend for the summer and therefore won't be available this year.
  
  
  J'ai quelques options a proposer. L'été je préfère vivre dans ma tente prospecteur de 14'x16', je suis accro au chant des oiseaux, du vent dans les arbres et au son de la pluie qui tambourine sur la toile. Si tu aimes la vie en foret et le glamping deluxe, tu pourrais t'y installer aussi, c'est assez grand pour partager.
  
  Tu peux aussi avoir ta propre tente, j'en ai de disponibles.
  
  J'ai egalement une micro maison de 7'x7' avec lit simple, electricité et le necessaire pour cuisiner.
  
  Ma petite maison sera occupée
  par une amie pour l'été et ne sera donc pas disponible cette annee.

  What else ...

  I did my share of workaway, wwoofing and farmsitting through the years, I learned a lot and met many inspiring people. Im finaly at a point where I can host and give back. This is a good spot to take a break from the city and connect to nature. Sometimes we will work together and sometimes you will be on your own as I also have a job and I am involved in different local organisations.  On your days off, you could enjoy the beach, hike or explore local restaurants, micro breweries and cultural events. 
  
  J'ai moi meme fait beaucoup de wwoofing et de workaway avec les années, j'ai appris énormément et j'ai rencontré beaucoup de gens inspirants, je suis enfin suffisement installée pour acceuillir et partager à mon tour. Parfois nous travaillerons ensemble et parfois tu travailleras seul puisque j'ai aussi un emploi et des differentes implications communautaires.  Pendant tes journées de congé tu pourras profiter de la plage, randonner ou explorer les petits restos, microbrasserie et événements culturels de la région.
