We the anchor outs of Sausalito, California are fighting for our legacy in the last free port on SF Bay. In exchange for teaching sailing and community development at our project onshore, we ask for an open mindedness and enthusiasm.

Water people have a unique culture and lifestyle with different words and even attitudes. A few feet onshore this adventure begins, but it doesn't end even when we come back to land.
I am in a 26' sloop anchored off Sausalito, California, and am looking for help in sailing & organizing interesting community projects onshore. We are in the last free anchorage on San Francisco Bay and we never give up the Ship. There is a 100' Brigantine Schooner being built next door and opportunities for apprentice shipwrights, outboard engineers & even an "anchor out" art shows and video project.
