Description
Hi, we are Kate and Harry. We are an Australian family living in Pererenan, Bali. We have 3 daughters aged 11, 9 and 2. The older girls are at the Green School and our youngest is at nursery. On weekends we are often at the beach or exploring the coast along Bali, or rice paddy walks inland. We love food, surfing and travel.Our line of work is hospitality and consultancy.
We are looking for a professional chef/cook passionate about healthy meals to cook and teach us 3 times per week.

Come and stay in the beautiful village of Pererenan, located next to Canggu. Walking distance to the beach and local surf breaks, and many beautiful shops, cafes and restaurants. We are happy to share our knowledge of Bali and help you explore the beautiful island.

Help
We would like to exchange our studio room for professional cook or chef to teach us about healthy cooking for one month. We would perhaps suggest 3 dinners per week for a family of 5. We are open to vegan or Ayurvedic cooking also. We normally eat at 5.30-6pm. You are welcome to join us for meals.

We are in a beautifully designed 4 bedroom + Studio home, with extra games room and swimming pool. The studio room has a large queen size bed, study desk and ensuite bathroom with external access.
We are looking for someone with professional cooking skills and passionate about healthy meals to come and cook 3 family meals a week and teach us the meals. Outside this you have the freedom to explore Bali. For your own meals you are welcome to join us or use the kitchen as you need, outside the main family times (6.30-8am and 5-7pm). There will be room in fridge and your own dedicated pantry space for your supplies. We will supply ingredients for the family meals, from your supplied shopping list.
What else ...
Time off is for exploring Bali - the surf breaks are minutes away, beach walks, exploring restaurants and sights of busy and bustling Canggus, quieter villages are nearby - Seseh, Tabanan, Ubud and Munduk. We are happy to suggest things you can do. Ideally this would be someone who wants to have a working holiday in Bali, enjoy relaxing and exploring with approximately 12 hours of cooking work per week.
We are busy during the week - getting kids ready and off to school. They leave by 8am and return about 4-5pm. The house is busy between 6.30-8am and 4-7pm. Harry and I work from home inside the main house and are in and out during the day.
Your studio is accessed externally and there is a path to enter the kitchen. So you won't really need to enter the remainder of the house. You are welcome to use the kitchen for your own use outside the busy times. You are welcome to enjoy the garden and the pool. On weekends we are in and out either activities, surfing, exploring, cooking nice meals, swimming at home.
We have househelp to clean your room and wash your sheets and towels 1x week. Laundry can be done offsite and any of the multiple local laundry sites, it is inexpensive to do this. There is always someone at home and security 24/7.
To get around you can use the Gojek/Grab apps for taxi style transport (bike or car). It is inexpensive.
