The international volunteer camp has now been finished for this phase of the project.
We are still searching for 2 people who are willing to continue working with us, mainly on the roof rooms creation - some mud work in the final layers of the walls, after which is mostly WORK WITH WOOD - wooden floors, finishing windows, doors, furniture.
Therefore, we would need people experienced in working with wood!
We are open to receive people from today on - & we finish work for this season on the 15th of October.
Anyone interested in joining us? :)
Surrounded by the hilly forest of Fruška gora and close to the city of Novi Sad, Serbia, our project is an intentional community in its beginnings!
We are a family-based group of 6 people, who live and work together for certain parts of the year.
The goal is to establish an eco-friendly, sustainable intentional community that, focuses on the organization of the events in the areas of eco-tourism, art and culture, kid and adult non-formal education, permaculture, & promotion of mental and physical health.
Next to creating various cultural & ecological events, we have a long history of organizing international Volunteer Camps.
Our International Volunteer Camps have become our tradition!
Each year a different topic is chosen to and worked on.
This year's focus: Earth Architecture & Eco-building!

Would you like to be part of an innovative project that connects art, culture and ecology? Have you ever been to Fruška gora National Park ?
We will learn to build ecologically sustainable structures following the ancient principles of Earth Architecture and Eco-building. Together we will work with our own hands and the basic elements like water, earth, Fire & wood to build objects such as rooms on the roof made of straw and clay, a garden kitchen, a composting toilet, entrance gate and similar.
Every morning, before breakfast we gather for a little morning meeting, to agree about the daily tasks for the given day.
Accommodation is in the tents, in the peaceful, private-land camping area, on the hills of Fruska gora Mountain, just next to the national park. If it gets too cold for the tents, we have a sofa that opens up and mattrasses in the living room. When the roof rooms get to be usable for sleeping upstairs, this will be possible as well.
We have 2 compost toilets, as well as outside showers outside, and a toilet with the shower inside the house for cold days.
We love eating together!
All participants are welcomed to eat together with us.
So all three meals & coffee-snack breaks will be provided by organizers.
Food will be diverse, colorful, tasty & plant-based ( vegan ), and will be made by the chef Goga, with the help of us.
FUN TIME & OPEN SPACE
Before & After the work is done, during the breaks, and during the work time, we open the space & invite workshops to happen!
In the free time volunteers are free to give and do workshops for each other, make group games, group talks, go swim in the river or lake, go to see the city, hike in the woods, play music around the fire, read and relax in our Chillout zones.
While organizers are taking care of the food and accommodation, work planning, free activities, and a good atmosphere, volunteers are to cover their travel costs.
