    Description

I live about 4 miles away from Goleen village. Crookhaven 2 miles away, and Schull roughly 8 miles In fact I live in a wonderful area where there are so many places to see and enjoy, Three Castles is another super place to visit, again, very near. Ideally a couple to stay would make the 'holiday/work' a perfect adventure. I intend to show some photographs of my garden in which I need help with. One of the things I would like is a wild life pond and have the perfect area for that. I was born in England but have been living and working [art] in Southern Ireland since 1996 and hopefully will stay here in my home for always! I am an artist and until recently tended to my garden on my own but now....... I need help with it!

The scenery and wonderful places to visit and explore so very near, Southern Ireland is exceptional, not only the small villages so near but all the historical history of Southern Ireland is close to hand and wanting you to come and see them, for instance [ as already mentioned ] Crookhaven and it's harbor and of course its super pub food/ restaurant/ Three Castles which sits on the very edge of Southern Ireland and welcomes visitors/ Jolly old Goleen with it's grocery shop and friendly butcher sitting almost next door/ Chip shop and interesting pubs are all here to welcome you. A little further away sits Schull which has a small variety of shops and its harbor and boats. Then there is Skibbereen and its Cultural Centre with the history of the famine of years ago/ farmers market and many small shops that should keep anyone happy.

    Accommodation

There is a kitchen with its own fridge/microwave/calor gas hob/ utensils etc; Within that room is a Bed Settee which opens up to a bed, plus a table and chairs, the next room [which is the private entrance also] looks out into the garden, there is a single bed and a bathroom with its shower, toilet and washbasin. I leave the basics in the fridge to begin with, this includes tea/coffee/milk/butter/oil/cornflakes/bread/sausages/rashers of bacon/fruit. I do not cook for you but once a week if you let me know what you would like me to buy for you I will provide - usually from the local village of Goleen. Upstairs is my Gallery showing artwork so no room up there for you, but of course you are welcome to look! This building is separate from my dwelling and private to you, so should be ideal if you wanted to go to the beach in the middle of the night! Room in the driveway for car or two / motor home/ motorbike . I have a very shy cat who 'disappears' when strangers are around, plus am going to ask you to always keep main gate closed as sometimes have 'walkabout' cattle from local farms. Can't think of anything else to say except I hope you or both, can help me with my garden and make it even better! Salutations and welcome.
