    Description

Hi, I’m Dany, a 33-year-old Colombian woman and the creator of a small eco hostel & camping project in Palomino, on Colombia’s Caribbean coast.

Our land is full of trees, creating a fresh microclimate and shelter for squirrels, iguanas, birds, and many other animals. More than a hostel, this is a living permaculture project where we are slowly building a sustainable way of life, always in connection with nature.

We are mainly looking for volunteers who enjoy hands-on, outdoor, and creative work, especially in:
🌱 Permaculture & gardening: vegetable garden, planting, composting, soil care, watering systems
🌿 Eco projects & sustainability: natural solutions, improving the land, working with nature
🔨 Carpentry: building furniture, repairs, creative wood projects
🧱 Construction & maintenance: simple structures, improvements, natural building techniques

This is a great place for people who like learning by doing, working with their hands, and contributing to something meaningful.

    🌞 Life & community

Life here is simple, calm, and community-based. We share daily tasks, meals, and moments with travelers from all over the world. We value respect, cooperation, and a relaxed rhythm.

We also encourage healthy habits like conscious eating, yoga or movement practices, and activities that support personal and collective well-being — always with deep respect for nature.

    🌊 Location

The eco hostel is located between two rivers that meet the sea, with beautiful views of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta. It’s a peaceful, inspiring place — perfect for slowing down, connecting with nature, and being part of an eco-community.

If you’re interested in permaculture, gardening, carpentry, construction, or sustainable living, you’ll likely feel at home here.
