Liz's opportunity has been our first workaway experience and though we haven't had more, we think that's been an excellent one and so we highly recommend her to anyone.
We stayed 2 weeks at Liz's house and we did plenty of outside work such as decluttering her garden shed and garage, weeding the garden's hedges and painting the outter part from

From our point of view, she was very flexible because she let us work whenever we wanted always respecting the minimum hours per day, so we could organize our visiting spots.
She was also very kind to us as we had all meals prepared after work and was always available to answer our questions and she helped us a lot in our learning purpose.
We enjoyed a lot spending time talking with her and playing with her waggy and cutie dogs, because they are friendly and everytime we arrived at home they were there welcoming us!
We really appreciate what Liz and her goods friends like Jackie did for us and we wish them the best and we hope to see them again in their trip to our country, we will host them as great as they did.
Thanks for all and keep enjoying your trip in Turkey!

Marc and Ignasi stayed with me for 2 weeks and they are 2 very pleasant likeable lads who were willing to tackle even the scariest of jobs, a special reference there to the massive spiders that lurked in my garden shed! They were keen to improve their English which is already excellent, and we had many a laugh trying to pronounce Irish place

They made a big difference to my garage and shed which had been neglected for 5 years, and were both cleaned out thoroughly and items replaced carefully or disposed of as appropriate. I already miss their discussions and laughter around the house, and wish them best wishes for their future studies. Liz

I am oh so thankful, that Liz took me in and gave me the honor of being her first work awayer!
I enjoyed my 2,5 weeks with her very much. She is such a kind person and a generous host and my accomodation was very nice. She was always happy to give me a lift where ever I wanted to go and so I happened to see a lot of the countryside, which is

Her wee dogs Tara and Penny and the evil one (Alfie) are such cute snorring creatures and fun to be with. I am very thankful and am looking forward to visit them again! Frieda stayed with me for almost 3 weeks and what a difference she made all around the house.
In the first few days she tamed the perimeter hedges which were very overgrown (producing 49 garden bags of clippings), she powerhosed a section of the garden and left it ready for planting and painting, she reorganised my freezers, she cooked delicious
… read more meals and in her final week she put her interior designer skills to good use and redecorated one of my bedrooms.
Frieda was my first Workawayer, and I cannot speak highly enough of her. She is highly motivated, excellent company with a quick sense of humour, and the house seems very empty and quiet without her. I look forward to her returning in a couple of weeks for a quick visit. Chat with Workawayers who've visited this host
