Description
Hi there,
We live in a beautiful house very close to Dublin city centre. I share the house with two other women: a Brazilian and a Ukrainian and of course, my cat Moosh Moosh. There are great pubs nearby serving delicious food at reasonable prices and some fantastic walks (the Phonenix Park is nearby). You can be in the heart of the city within 10 minutes by bus or Luas.
An adjoining wall in our garden fell down recently, and afterwards, part of the garden shed had to be taken down too. We need some help to rebuild the back part of the shed with wood. If you are very handy and know how to build with wood, your experience would be appreciated at this point. It would be great if you could join us for 7-10 days with this project.
The dates are 6-16 October. Flexibility with these dates will not be possible I am afraid as there will be visitors coming to stay.
I look forward to welcoming you :) -

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
I'm happy to give you some pointers on where to go in Dublin, which are the best places to visit etc. I also teach English to Ukrainians here and will happily engage in conversational English and you can join my English class too if you like.

Help
It is mainly help with rebuilding the back of my garden shed that is needed right now. However, if there is any more time left after doing this, help with maintaining the garden is always much appreciated.

Accommodation
I am offering a single room in the house. You will have access to the shared kitchen and bathrooms. I am happy to provide your food (vegetarian) and you are more than welcome to share a dish from your country one or more evenings if you wish.

What else ...
There are 5-6 bus routes which go directly into the city centre from here. There is a Luas stop just 5 minutes away as well. We are a vegetarian household so no meat or fish can be cooked in the house. No smoking in the house either.

She was very kind to me and she gave me advice when I was in trouble.
She is English teacher, so she taught me English. Thanks to her, I have a confidence to speak English.
Mainly, I worked in the garden. It was not difficult work. I enjoyed working in the garden.
I recommend this host to you.
Kazuya worked really hard while he was here and achieved a lot in my garden. The beds were full of weeds when he came, and when he left the same beds were clear of weeds and very nicely dug out. I was really happy with the progress.

She stayed with me for just over a week and in that time she proved to be diligent, kind, reliable and great company. I had a list of jobs for her to do, each of which she accomplished with diligence and a great eye for detail. I was always very happy with the results of her work.
