Description
Live and Learn Agroecology in a Regenerative Landscape (Northern Italy)
🌿 Community • Nature • Food Culture • Long-Term Vision
Since 2012, a regenerative farm has been taking root in the plains of Verona, northeastern Italy — cultivating biodiversity, community, and a different way of living with the land.
Here, we host people who want to experience agroecology, natural food practices, and seasonal living — not as workers on the farm, but as part of the broader ecosystem of life and learning that surrounds it.
The exchange:
You won’t be involved in commercial farming or construction. Instead, you'll help in the shared gardens, around the kitchen, with firewood and seasonal tasks, in an atmosphere of mutual learning and collaboration.
You’ll be living in close connection with a landscape shaped by 10,000+ trees, an old villa on the river Adige, and an evolving network of people and ideas. This is a place in movement — agro-tourism, food transformation and educational projects are expanding, and your energy could help shape what’s next.
Ideal for you if:
• you’re curious, grounded, and open to learning by doing
• you want to explore agroecology and food cultures in a real, living context
• you're looking for a longer-term experience with space for deeper involvement
We welcome seasonal stays, but are also open to co-developing longer-term collaborations with those who feel called to grow something meaningful together.Types of help and learning opportunities

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
We have completely transformed the landscape and the rural environment of our farm by planting thousands of trees, applying agroecological principles, creating a natural pond, and respecting the rhythms of nature.
The path toward a truly sustainable and inspiring model — one that can convince other farmers to move away from industrial, polluting agriculture — is still long and challenging. But we believe in it deeply.
We work with trees, with seeds, and now also with people — including those joining us through Workaway — to help bring this vision to life.
We’re building a team to walk this path together, to show that there are better, more joyful and meaningful ways to live, and to work with the Earth, the soil, and its natural abundance.
Our shared knowledge and passions span biology, nutrition, ecology, farming, agroforestry, woodworking (in our farm’s woodlab), bread and pizza baking, gardening, and beekeeping.Help
We’re looking for medium- to long-term support with basic animal care, housekeeping, general maintenance, and help in the private garden near the main residence.
As a Workaway guest, you’ll be involved in activities such as cleaning and maintaining private living spaces, caring for the garden, and supporting simple daily tasks in and around the household.
You won’t be involved in commercial farming or construction. Instead, your help will focus on producing fruits, vegetables, and firewood for personal use only, within the broader context of a living, regenerative farm.Languages
