Good opportunity to experience an unspoiled seaside village facing west for fabulous sunsets. Cottage is 1km from the seafront, set at the back of the village alongside an ancient pathway to a nearby hillside village. Not overlooked, the property is private with a shared parking area and enclosed offering a quiet artistic retreat or a private gig for musical abandon... There are a handful of tavernas/cafe/bars for refreshments and socializing during the summer, which reduces to a couple of tavernas in the winter. Beaches are plentiful and nearby. Boats can be hired (summer) and the Sporades Islands are a hop away (Skiathos/Skopelos/Alonissos) by ferry or water taxi. 2 mountain bikes are available for use.

Home to the University of Thessaly, the city also offers facilities for conferences, exhibitions and major sporting, cultural and scientific events. Volos participated in the 2004 Olympic Games, and the city has since played host to other athletic events, such as the European Athletic Championships.
