  This is an organization dedicated to the conservation of the Northern Muriqui, an endangered primate that inhabits the tropical forests of Brazil. Located in areas of the Atlantic Forest, this NGO plays a crucial role in preserving this species and its habitat. The work carried out by us is diverse and includes ecological awareness to better understand the Atlantic Forest ecosystem, as well as environmental awareness actions to involve the local community in conservation. A fundamental part of the NGO's work is reforestation and planting of native trees. This is essential to restore degraded areas and create ecological corridors that allow the movement of muriquis and other species in the region. Reforestation also helps combat climate change by storing carbon and promoting biodiversity. The NGO actively encourages volunteer programs to engage people of different backgrounds and ages in the cause of conservation. Volunteers have the opportunity to participate in reforestation activities, maintenance of the NGO's environments and agricultural and construction activities.   Somos uma organização dedicada à conservação do Muriqui-do-norte, um primata ameaçado de extinção que habita as florestas tropicais do Brasil. Localizada em áreas de Mata Atlântica, essa ONG desempenha um papel crucial na preservação dessa espécie e de seu habitat. Os trabalhos realizados pela são diversos e incluem conscientização ecológica para entender melhor o ecossistema da Mata Atlântica, bem como ações de conscientização ambiental para envolver a comunidade local na conservação. Uma parte fundamental do trabalho da ONG é o reflorestamento e o plantio de árvores nativas. Isso é essencial para restaurar áreas degradadas e criar corredores ecológicos que permitam a movimentação dos muriquis e de outras espécies na região.   Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

  Around the Reserve there are numerous attractions for leisure and ecological experiences for volunteers to experience, such as: trails, waterfall, bike routes, viewpoint, observations of animals from the Atlantic Forest, one of which is the Muriquis, which are the largest species of primate in the Americas and gave the name to the NGO, as we have a large number of them in this habitat that we share, so during the afternoon it is very possible to see them strolling through the trees.
  
  Ao redor da Reserva existem inúmeros atrativos para lazer e vivências ecológicas para os voluntários experienciar, tais como: trilhas, cachoeira, trajetos de bike, mirante, observações de animais da Mata Atlântica sendo um deles os Muriquis, que são a maior espécie de primatas das Américas e deu o nome para a ONG, pois possuímos um grande número deles nesse habitat que compartilhamos, então durante a tarde é muito possível de vê-los passeando pelas árvores.

  Management of the Atlantic Forest native seedling nursery; help in collecting and processing seeds; planting seedlings and reforestation in general. In addition, we count on help with the maintenance within everyday life, such as Bioconstruction or Carpentry and Joinery (depending on the volunteer's experience), including help and experience with Syntropic Agriculture and Agroforestry.

  Accommodation

  The accommodation will be in our main house located within the Reserve with shared bedrooms, as well as the kitchen and bathroom, all recently renovated and in a practical location within the Reserve and close to Viveiro and Horta, where in the morning it is possible to wake up to singing. of birds.
  We will provide the ingredients for the volunteers' meals and often everyone prepares the food together in the shared kitchen.
  
  As acomodações serão em nossa casa sede que fica dentro da Reserva com quartos compartilhados, assim como a cozinha e banheiro, tudo recém reformado e numa localização prática dentro da Reserva e próximo do Viveiro e Horta, onde de manhã é possível de acordar com o canto dos pássaros.
  Nós forneceremos os ingredientes para as refeições dos voluntários e muitas vezes todos preparam as comidas juntos na cozinha compartilhada.

  In our Reserve there are many hammocks positioned in places with great views, to read a good book and enjoy contact with nature, listening to the sounds of the forest, and if you are a meditation practitioner you will find a perfect place to stay with yourself and practice. Furthermore, there is a very rich exchange of conversations and experiences between the learning of local workers, NGO coordinators and other volunteers as they all work in the same space together.
  
  Em nossa Reserva existem muitas redes de descanso posicionadas em lugares com ótimas vistas, para ler um bom livro e desfrutar o contato com a natureza, ouvindo os sons da mata, além disso se você é um praticante de meditação se encontrará num lugar perfeito para ficar consigo mesmo e praticar. Além disso, acontece uma troca muito rica de conversa e vivências entre os aprendizados dos trabalhadores locais, os coordenadores da ONG e outros voluntários já que todos trabalham no mesmo espaço em conjunto.
