Description
We are Christina and Tim, both semi-retired and enjoying a slower pace in life. We live in a quaint little timber framed house in Hasle, on the island of Bornholm. You can enjoy a view of the sea from our guest room, but no-one comes to Bornholm to stay indoors. There are sandy beaches (one is a few minutes walk away), and rocky shores, forests, ruins and historic buildings to explore.

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
There is also a huge number of workshops for traditional crafts on the island. We have spare bicycles available for you to use if you wanted to take a tour.
In the evenings we often enjoy playing games and it would be cosy if you decided to join in. We also hope you are open to sharing stories, we do not travel as much as we would like and it is an alternative way to experience different cultures. -

Help
As part of our home projects we now turn our attention to the garden where we wish for a balanced space in which to relax, grow a little food and support greater biodiversity and encourage pollinators. We don't have green fingers, and hope you will bring experience as well as a willing pair of hands and help alongside us on this project.

Accommodation
You will be staying in a cosy newly renovated guest room in our old timber framed house. It is suitable for a single person, or a couple. The kitchen, bathroom and dining room are shared. We are a non-smoking household.
We can provide simple meals: breakfast, lunch and dinner. If you are willing to cook a meal, perhaps a personal favourite, then we can provide ingredients. We enjoy trying new dishes.
The house is 200m from the sea, 200m from the village centre, 200m from the bus stop. There are many beautiful places to see within walking and cycling distance (we have spare cycles you can borrow). -

Can host digital nomads
We have reasonable internet access, 1Gb fibre. Wifi speeds are the limiting factor, but if you really care you can use ethernet. The guest room has its own desk for your private use, but if you prefer more space and don't mind sharing you could use our studio. The studio also has a lovely sea view if you need a little distraction. If you have any specific needs I can try to accommodate them.

Luna
Luna does not live with us permanently, but does stay regularly. We mention this because even though she may not be present during a work away, it's impossible to remove all cat hair from the house. We wouldn't wish anyone with an allergy to suffer.
