    Description

I'm a young at heart British woman who has been living in Goa for the last 22 years. I have been rescuing and taking care of dogs and cats since then. I have 13 dogs and 6 cats living with me. I live in a quiet part of the village of Parra which is within easy reach of the beaches and the bustling market city of Mapusa.

    Help

I need help with walking the dogs, grooming and petting the dogs and cats, giving medications, treats. Sometimes I'll need help with cooking their food and feeding them when my full-time live-in helper isn't here. Being with the dogs and making sure they play nicely with each other.

  • Accommodation

    Accommodation

Accommodation is in a modern well appointed building with a large 50ft x 14ft balcony. A private bedroom, two bathrooms and a kitchen. There are cooking and dining facilities on the balcony too if you want to dine alfresco. I cook for myself and would hope you could do that too. I don't mind sharing the cooking if we have similar taste in food. Sometimes my helper will cook food for me as I can't cook Indian food. There is a sitting pool on the ground floor when you want to cool off. I also have unlimited high-speed Internet. I have an electric scooter with stabiliser wheels available for you to use.

  • What else ...

    What else ...

Regular and inexpensive busses to the beach and Mapusa city run along the main road which is about a ten minute walk away. You can easily reach the capital city of Panjim by bus with one change. Beside the beaches there are many attractions including temples, 17th century churches, forts, spice plantations, boat trips, waterfalls, markets and nightlife (Busses don't run at night)
I don't want my dogs to disturb my neighbours so arriving home very late at night isn't a good idea. I like listening to music, watching movies and series and sometimes going out to lunch with friends. Mostly I'm at home with my babies.
