Hi There Big Sis! // Salut 'Grande sœur'!

Live close to the beach, while being only 35 minutes from the Melbourne CBD. We are a relaxed French/Australian family with three lovely children.
If you are looking to stay longer, we could discuss higher allowance. We are looking for someone to start in June 2020 (or from mid January 2020 onwards).

Vivant à quelques pas de la mer, 35 minutes du centre-ville de Melbourne. Nous sommes une famille Française/Australienne décontractée, avec trois adorables enfants.
Si vous aviez l’intention de rester plus longtemps avec nous, nous pourrions discuter d’une indemnité plus élevée. Nous cherchons quelqu’un pour commencer à partir de Juin 2020 ou September ou alors mi Janvier 2021.

You will improve in learning English in a franco australian family. You will also experiencing what life looks like in Australia, living with young kids. We will also have the opportunity to meet the community and who knows, meet new friends!
Also, life is busy with kids but having the beach on our door step feels like a holiday every day, with the convenience of going for a stroll or a swim whenever you feel like it and if the Melbourne weather permits! Parks, coffee shops, restaurants and shopping are also close by so you will live like a true Aussie!

Help
A lot of the time you will help with the everyday things like, getting ready for school, packing school lunches, and generally keep morning and evening on track.
Most of your time will be spent with Claire and Marc! Jack is in school during the week and you only drop him off/pick him from school.
Some of the tasks include:
+ Assisting with preparing meals (snacks, lunches and dinners).
+ Assisting with getting the kids ready for school (packing up snacks and lunches).
+ School pickups and drop offs.
+ Going to the different activities (swimming, music, sports, story times).
+ Helping with bedtime routine when one of the parents is away (bathing, reading books).
+ Helping with tidying up kitchen and living areas.
+ Engaging the kids in creative activities.
+ Running the occasional errands.
+ Just having fun with them and being an awesome friend to them!
Accommodation
+ Your own private bedroom, garden facing double bedroom, at the rear of the house with its own separate toilet, separate from us and the kids.
+ Your bedroom is furnished with a single King size bed, desk, wardrobe, sofa and library.
+ Shared Bathroom with the parents only.
+ Access to Free Wi-Fi, Netflix and Spotify accounts for use.
+ Bikes, camping gear available.
+ Car available for local trips when not in use.
What else ...
We live in one of Melbourne beach side suburbs - Mentone, literally 2 min walk to the beautiful beach. Mentone is 30 mins by train from Melbourne CBD the nearest train station is less than 1km away (10 min walk).
We live in a typical Australian brick house with a massive garden with fruit trees, 3 chickens, a vegie patch, a trampoline, and a cubby house. We live in a very peaceful street with friendly neighbours.
