A group of people stands on a hill under a starry night sky, illuminated by a soft purple glow, creating a serene, dreamy atmosphere.
A cozy bedroom featuring a double bed with a leafy-patterned cover, wooden furniture, a study desk with chair, large window, and lush greenery outside.
A white cockatoo with a yellow crest perches on a bare tree branch against a clear blue sky, surrounded by several thin, leafless branches.
A black animal, possibly a squirrel, is climbing into a wooden birdhouse or nest box among green leaves and tree branches, with its tail hanging out.
A small black dog stands on a wooden deck, holding a pink and yellow plush toy in its mouth. Colorful outdoor background, cute and playful.

    Description

I'm Selena. I live on the Northern Beaches of Sydney and have a large permaculture garden and a sustainable house. I live with 2 adult children and 2 dogs. We have a spare guest room and love visitors. We have had a number of exchange students over the years. We live right near a large lagoon, beaches, bush walks, all accessible by our e-bikes, bus or foot.

We have lots of wildlife and the natural world around us. It is a quiet location.

    Help

Our garden needs a lot of maintenance, such as sweeping, raking, clearing, pruning, mulching, and planting. Sometimes I need to take materials to be recycled. I can't do it all myself and often need help.
If you stay with us, you would help in the garden, learn about permaculture, and also learn about Australian native plants.
We would share cooking and conversation in the evening.
On weekends I often go for bush walks which you would be welocme to join to see more of our beautiful area.
