We are a couple with a smallholding of 11 acres set in a private beautiful setting in Norfolk UK. We breed a few pigs which we show, have geese, chickens and a young shire horse. We grow all our own veg and fruit. We are looking for one or two people who would like to stay with us to help out on the farm with animals and gardens including vegetable garden. Learn skills of living off the land and producing your own food.
We are very remote and not on a bus route. The nearest town is 7 miles away.

Help in the house
You will learn how to look after farm animals, how to grow your own food from scratch, how to look after land. You, of course, may have experience with these already which would be an advantage.
You would learn from a very skilled vegetable producer in Norfolk and a very knowledgeable pig and chicken breeder.
There is always something to do around our smallholding.
You would be helping look after the animals which includes feeding and mucking out, gardening both preparing ground and planting including vegetable growing from seed to planting, depending on the season, some housework and cooking if you like to cook.
There is lots to do around our place so be prepared.
Whilst we have internet access this does not mean being on it all the time.
Converted Barn. You would have your own bedroom, family bathroom, separate chill out lounge.
Food is included . We have a cooked meal every night and quite happy for you to cook or suggest meals. Helping prepare the evening meal and be interactive.
