  Description

  We are an anti-trafficking organization based in Maechan, Chiang Rai, Thailand. We are seeking only FEMALE volunteers for a MINIMUM OF TWO MONTHS to help both with our organic farm and also to teach English and do activities with our 22 residential Daughters, aged 9 - 18. We host many community activities, workshops and camps and welcome Workawayers to share their hobbies and talents such as music, arts, sports and English conversation. Workawayers are welcome to assist in cooking and campus activities. Workawayers are also invited to use our swimming pool and pickleball courts.

  Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

  Travelers will experience life on Chiang Rai's largest organic learning center, learn about all aspects of our program from anti-trafficking initiatives.They're welcome to participate in "Family" activities and can be role models

• 

  Help

  Volunteers are welcome to teach English, lead activities and interact with our resident Daughters. The ideal Workawayer will be self-motivated, take initiative, enjoy living in a rural setting and will have some experience of organic farming, enjoy playing games and teaching English - informal activities are fine. volunteers are also invited to assist with farmwork, planting, weeding, collecting eggs, etc.

  We strongly encourage Volunteers to teach English - whether through games, reading, activities or in more formal, organized lessons after school and on weekends.

  Accommodation

  Workawayers will stay in our small adobe cabin with bunkbeds and an en-suite bathroom. They are welcome to join our Thai Family at meals (non-vegetarian) or have access to the kitchen to prepare their own.
  
  Breakfast and dinner are included; Workawayers are expected to shop/provision their own lunches and snacks.

  The farm is located about 35 minutes from Chiang Rai city which has shopping malls, cinema, night bazaar and sightseeing spots. There are hikes, waterfalls and hot springs nearby in Maechan. We are also near Doi Tung Gardens and the Myanmar border town of Tachilek, and the Golden Triangle
