German family need help in our private organic garden in the small village of Toppo, Italy

  Description

  My name is Hilde and I am 53 years old. My husband Helmut, our son Andre and I, are a German family living in northern Italy. Toppo, which is our home for many years already,is a lovely village on the foot of mountain Valini.
  Our garden feeds us from its fruit trees and bushes, it also has got many vegetables and herbs. We have got three big but very friendly dogs, some chicken, ducks and a rabbit.
  We live in an old farmhouse, which we renovated over many years by our self. Only a small part o fit is not finished yet.
  Our son Andre is 15 years old. He speaks fluently Italian and German. To also improve his English, it would be a great opportunity for him, to have someone to talk english and maybe even teach him a little bit.
  We are pleased to meet you in our home! Neither does it matter if you are travelling alone or as a couple, nor do we have any preferance regarding your age or profession.

  Help

  We are looking for help at our private organic garden.
  If you like to help to reconstruct our garden and ist arrangement, we would appreciate to do this together with you. There are some things to be done like building up walls, making paths as well as a wooden fence in the garden.
  We could also finish the renovation of our house together.

  Accommodation

  Two single beds and a double bed, in a wooden guest house including kitchen and bath room. It might hapen that you have to share with friends or relatives in case we are visited on short notice.

  What else ...

  After we have done the daily work, we could go to the meditarranean sea or go swimming in a nice river near by or have a walk in the mountains. It would be great to prepare and enjoy dinner together. We could sit outside and enjoy the warm weather in the evening. We have a fire bowl, which creates a very peaceful and romantic athmosphere.
  In this area it is also very nice to ride bike as there are many bicyicle tracks. Very close to our village there is a landing area for paragliding.
  To drive to the sea it takes 1,5 to 2 hours. Maniago (approx. 20km away) has a train station with very frequent connections.
