  • Description


    I am Bwambale, school proprietor running 3 schools, an orphanage and a community based organization.

    The school was founded by a community based organization i founded in 2009 which engages in a series of projects in the fields of Education, Environment, Sustainable Agriculture, self help community empowerment initiatives that aims at combating poverty, ignorance,disease and irrational superstitious practices in our society.
    Our non profit is registered with Kasese District Development Network of Civil Society Organization (KADD-NET) and Kasese Municipal Council.

    My schools are located in three different places, most of the pupils come from communities around there, on the schools are clinics.

    There is great need for volunteer teachers, medical staffs and technical experts in the fields of eco tourism, community work and outreach programs.

    We also own the a CENTER which is an establishment comprising of a library, common room for lessons and volunteer socializing, the hostel where volunteers and other guests to our initiatives are housed.

    We have a boat ride service on Lake George where our guests can hire our boat and tour around lake George and the outskirts of Queen Elizabeth National park.

    We also engage ourselves in farming at the Farmland and school plantations surrounding our schools.

    Volunteers needed at the moment will only serve at the Muhokya campus.

    Free boat tours and chance to see wild animals on the outskirts of the parks.

    Visiting several tourist attractions like parks, rivers, lakes and magnificent scenery

    On weekends , volunteers are free to do any thing leisure in nature either riding bikes and tour around places of interest, taking a boat ride or a small car and pay a small fee for fuel or visit the national parks of Queen Elizabeth and Rwenzori.

    Hostel accommodation at the Hostel which has 4 self contained rooms, has a quadrangle, a spacious common room for meetings, has an extra 3 more single rooms, well fenced, free water, solar powered and has AC power as well, with a small restaurant.

    Food and accommodation will be provided during the time the volunteer will be around. Food served is commonly corn meal, beans, peanuts, sweet potatoes with some greens.

    Volunteers will be offered free accommodation and meals and will be staying at our Hostel which is located afew metres from the our School .
    Meals offered are porridge for breakfast, Lunch and supper can be corn meal, beans, peanuts, matooke, sweet potatoes, cassava flour, raw cassava and some greens.
    Volunteers will serve as assistants and will work alongside the local teachers.

    Touring Queen Elizabeth and Rwenzori National park, Visiting lake Edward, Kazinga channel, Lake George, several craters, salt lake at Katwe, Kilembe mines, hot springs, enjoying the boat rides. We can offer cars for hire as well.
