  • Description

We are a spanish-southafrican non profit organisation living in the location of Onseepkaans ( in the beautiful middle of nowehere) offering to the local people empowerment opportunities through the realization of self-financing projects, with a special aim on food sovereignty, education in values and ecology.

We strongly believe that the possibility of a re connection with the land through the values thought by organic agriculture, the dignified work done towards self-sufficiency can be a source of local empowerment and social transformation.

We built a company that grow and sell organic luzern and veggies creating jobs for the people of the community.
We also offer to the children of the location a daily dinning room where they have a nutritive meal per day following by an activities program to promote their integral development by enriching the areas of knowledge hat the formal school does not develop such as musical, artistically, cultural and sports education; as well as education in values within the framework of education for peace, human rights, cooperation, mutual respect and ecology.

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

We believe and see how powerful is working mixing cultures. We invite you to see how pure is the life in this small village.
You will find here the opportunity to learn essential community values which have been lost in Europe or united states like: share everything you have, even if that means sharing a single cigarette among 5 people, respect for the elderly, offer a plate of food to whoever is at home and raise the children of your neighbors as if they were yours.
And, of course, the possibility to lear the magic of organic agriculture.

  • What else ...

    What else ...

To put yourself in situation, we live in a kind of oasis.
The landscape is desert with mountains of reddish rocks and is bathed by the orange river that we have 2 minutes walk where you can enjoy with a canoe or do rafting.
You can be fascinated by the nature of the area visiting the biggest Augrabies falls, Kalahari Transfrontier park or the biggest "Kokerboom tree" forest in the southern hemisphere.
