Description
We are a big nature oriented off grid family which lives in amazing nature of Croatian picturesque hills and we would like to invite anyone that resonates with our story to come and visit us, create cultural exchange and help in our garden.
On the edge of absolute wilderness nature has blessed us with some amazing gifts which include pristine nature, many water sources and streams, intact forest full of wildlife, mushrooms, berries, medicinal herbs and above all many hours of sunshine.
Learning, listening and bonding with nature and our kids is something delicate and precious, and we try to get better at it every day.
We eat predominantly plant-based, wholefoods diet based on what grows wild in our local environment and what we grow ourselves in our permaculture garden.

We will do our best to present you and even immerse you in our local lifestyle but we are also very eager to hear your stories about your country, culture, language, cuisine...
Living off grid, writing letters and books with pen and paper instead of going digital all the time, enjoying the light of a natural wax candle instead of lights glowing all the time.
We always live in the present moment which means that you will have a chance to look somebody in the eyes, have meaningful conversations, be amazed with simple natural meals, feel your breath, heartbeat and your emotions, and ultimately you will have a chance not to hear any noise, not even your own thoughts and just be, just exist in the nature.

Help
Our primary focus is taking care of our big organic garden which includes planting, watering, weeding, mulching and harvesting.
You will also get a chance to participate in many natural building, sculpting, carving, sewing, knitting, weaving and pottery projects,
We also need help around the house, playing with kids, teaching them languages, art and music skills you might have.
*** All of the activities on our family homestead are exclusively non profit, we are not a business and we don't offer any kind of payment, our homestead is only focused on growing food for our own needs while hosting people and families for cultural exchange and a voluntary help to our family :) ***

We are always very eager to improve our language skills.
Accommodation
First option is a room inside of our house, second option is to park your camper or trailer on the property and third option is pitching up a tent anywhere on our land.
There is a outdoor toilet available but you can also use the forest toilet anywhere around you ;)
We offer a lot of organic and fresh plant based food from our land, wild or self grown and also an abundance of very rich natural spring water.
What else ...
We equally accept and will consider any application from single people, couples or families with kids. Because of our large family and joyful childish atmosphere we welcome the most big families with many kids !
There is a lot of activities that you can do around here including hiking, local sightseeing, riding mountain bikes, forest meditation, exploring local lakes and rivers, mountain tops, visiting local farmers markets, horse riding, thermal spa enjoyment and many more.
We welcome good hearted people with honest thoughts and intentions. If you feel that you resonate with our story we welcome you to stay for as long as you want.
