Description
Hi! I'm Alisson, originally from Peru, now living in Lima.
I’m a communication student passionate about creativity, design, and languages. Right now, I’m focusing on giving my house a fresh new look — it’s a personal project, and I love sharing the process with people from around the world. I don’t employ any locally paid staff. This is just my personal renovation project, and sometimes friends or family give me a hand.
I live in a quiet neighborhood, close to Surco and Barranco, a perfect place if you enjoy calm surroundings but still want to be near the beach.
At home, it’s just me and my sweet dog — she’s friendly and loves meeting new people! My brother comes on weekends and sometimes I have friends visiting or helping out with the project too, so you’ll meet locals and share good moments together.
I would love some help with moving things around and plastering/rendering the terrace walls and finishing touches. Also, if someone has knowledge in digital marketing and social media, that support would be amazing for my small brands.
I love cultural exchange, good talks, and learning new things, so I’m really looking forward to hosting open-minded, kind people who want to share their skills or simply a nice experience.Types of help and learning opportunities

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
I love meeting people from different cultures and sharing everyday life experiences. At my place, we can exchange languages — I can teach you some Spanish and share about Peruvian culture, and I’d love to improve my English and French through daily conversation.
I also enjoy creative projects, so if you’re into design, decoration, we can definitely share ideas and skills.
I’d love to introduce you to local spots and help you discover the area like a local. If you're interested, we could go for walks, visit markets, or even cook together — I’d be happy to teach you some Peruvian recipes!
For me, hosting is about cultural exchange, learning from each other, and creating a friendly, open atmosphere where we both grow.Help
I'm currently working on remodeling my house, so I'm mainly looking for help with tasks like painting, organizing and finishing touches around the home. Nothing too technical — just an extra pair of hands and a good attitude!
I'd love to share some of the tasks together, so we can exchange ideas and skills along the way. If you have experience with decoration, artsy projects, or home improvements, that's a plus — but if not, your willingness to help and learn is perfect.
Besides that, I'm also looking to improve my English and French, so language exchange would be a big bonus! If you enjoy teaching or just chatting in your language, I’d really appreciate it.
Finally, I have a lovely dog who sometimes needs a walk or some company when I’m busy studying, so animal lovers are very welcome!
Looking forward to a great cultural and skills exchange!Languages

I offer a private room in my home — simple but cozy, with a comfortable bed and space for your belongings. The bathroom and kitchen are shared, and you’ll have access to the common areas. I always make sure everything is clean and welcoming.
When it comes to food, you’ll have your own space to cook and store groceries. Of course, we can occasionally share a meal or cook together if we both feel like it, but generally, you’ll be independent with meals. I provide ingredients so Workawayers can cook for themselves in the shared kitchen, but I also love sharing meals together when possible — it’s a great way to exchange culture and get to know each other better. I’ll make sure there are 3 meals a day covered, either cooked together or with food available for you to prepare.
I want you to feel at home, comfortable, and free to enjoy your stay in your own way. What else ...
On your free time, you’ll be able to explore Lima — I live in a quiet neighborhood with good transport connections to the city center and the coast. There are local markets, parks, and typical Peruvian restaurants nearby, and it’s a safe area to walk around.
At home, I like to keep a relaxed and respectful atmosphere. I value open communication and appreciate people who are tidy and responsible in shared spaces.
If you’re independent, curious, and open to cultural exchange, I think you’ll enjoy staying here and discovering Lima!A little more information
