It was a really good experience for me, Francis and Vanessa are very nice and gentle people!! Vanessa will help you improving your english if needed and Francis is a really good cooker, I really enjoy all the meals! Francis can also cook chocolate and it's very good! Thanks again for hosting me!

I spent a 6 weeks at Vanessa and Francis, with their teenagers Lulu and Johnnie in this formidable family. They immediately integrated me into their family life, in which I participated at all; I loved everything!
What a joy to walk every day, either in the forest or the sea with their two dogs Monty and Crackle, so different but I loved it so
… read more much!
I worked either in their Chocolate shop in Kinsale, to pack all kinds of chocolates, whether in their home to do small jobs (painting, cupboards, their garages, mowing the lawn with the little tractor ...). Everything was nice and easy!
Most of the time, I was working with Vanessa, who is so generous and immense kindness. Her company is so sweet and nice. She was extremely patient with me, as I do not speak English very well, unfortunately! I loved our feeling!
Francis often teased me and it was great to laugh at their craziness with Johnnie and Lulu ... it was good to play football with Johnnie a few times:
They are all so natural, gentle, kind and respectful ... I had more the feeling of staying with friends rather than Workaway, in a family that I did not know before!
I was housed in my own separate accomodation next to their house, beautiful and very spacious.
It is, for me, very difficult to reduce in a few words all that I could do or feel with this family, so everything was perfect and enjoyable! I sincerely spent fabulous and wonderful moments with them.
I felt frustrated not being able to speak their language better. I long for the day I speak English and know that I can communicate better with Vanessa and her family, because I'm planning to see you again ... I hope to return one day ... or you can visit me in France !
Thank you so much for all you've been and what you've done for me !!
I wish you a good continuation. I keep you in my heart!
Big kisses to you and big hugs to 4 Monty and Crackle.

Bettina has been staying with us for over four weeks, she has been absolutely amazing, she has thrown herself into everything with great enthusiasm, never shirking at any task. She has redecorated two rooms completely, cleared bramble bushes, cleaned out cupboards. She has worked in our busy chocolate shop too, making coffee, packaging and

Lucas was our first workawayer, and he was everything and more that you could ever dream of. Our garden had fallen into complete disrepair over the last few years and it was a massive clearance job. We loved having him in our family, he completely fitted in and came to everything we did as a family, including rugby matches, walks on the beach
