    Description

Hello! Come and join us in our beautiful property! We are a family of 4 with two kids aged 7 and 9. We have a lot of renovation work in the farm, 2 donkeys to look after, an orchard to maintain, a vegetable garden to grow, and a lot of fun to share.

We live 2km from Lauzerte, one of the most beautiful village of France, on the Santiago de Compostella trail, 1 hour drive from Toulouse in the South West of France.

We are both native French speakers and fluent in English. Both of us are well traveled and adapted to different cultures and ways of life.

Catherine is a geographer, interested in plants of all sort, cultivated or wild, . Marc likes to work with matter... wood, stone, iron, and love to build things ;-)

The area of Lauzerte has a lot to offer to foreign visitors. It is a historical stage on the Compostella de Santiago trail. The village itself hosts a number of cafés and restaurants as well as bakers, supermarket, chemist, public library and many handicraft workshops. It is considered one of the most beautiful village in France. It is at the heart of living traditions and history.

The area is ideal for hikers, bicycle rides, fishing in beautiful landscapes and nature.

You can experience trekking with our donkeys as pack animals and wonderful companions. We'll be happy to let you learn the ropes and how to look after them.

We enjoy cooking traditional French cuisine with local products and we love food from around the world. We are used to vegetarians.

Toulouse airport 1h15mn drive from our place. Moissac train station is 20mn drive. Montauban TGV is 35mn drive. Unfortunately, public transport is not well-developed. So having a car is definitely a plus to visit the region. There are buses to Moissac twice a week. We can also drive you to the train station if you fancy a trip to the city.

Pets are welcome. Be aware that we live next to a road and a wood with no fence. Wild life is present everywhere (deers, foxes, wild boars, squirrels, etc.). We also have 2 donkeys who don't really care about pets.
