    Description

Hello and welcome to our home in Belm close to Osnabrück!
We are a small family who moved into a house with a large garden earlier this year. We live a vegan lifestyle, share our home with a friendly dog, and our daughter is four years old.

We are happy to welcome people who would like to support us in our everyday life. It is mainly about making daily life a little easier together, whether by helping with our dog, spending time with our daughter, giving us a hand around the house, or working in the garden. We have also been volunteers ourselves with other families in New Zealand and now we would like to give others the same opportunity.

With us you will find a warm and relaxed family atmosphere. We cook and eat vegan and are happy to share our meals with you. You will have your own room and we want you to feel completely at home here. We especially welcome guests who are open-minded, enjoy spending time with children and animals, and who would like to share a piece of everyday life with us.

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

Staying with us means becoming part of our everyday family life. We enjoy spending time together, sharing meals, and having relaxed conversations, and we would love for you to join in. Whenever possible, we are happy to show you around our town and the surrounding nature, or to go on small trips together. We also have bicycles that you can use to explore the area on your own.

We are happy to share our knowledge about vegan cooking, gardening, and family life in Germany, and we are just as curious to learn about your culture, your language, and your way of living. For us, Workaway is not only about support in daily life, but also about creating meaningful connections and enjoying the exchange that comes from bringing different cultures together under one roof.

  • Help

    Help

You can help us in many small but meaningful ways. Sometimes this means taking our dog for a walk or keeping him company, sometimes spending time with our daughter through play, creativity, or simply enjoying daily life together. There are also household tasks where an extra pair of hands makes things easier, and in the garden there is always something to do, from planting and weeding to caring for the green space.

Most of these things we will do together, and we see it as an opportunity to learn from each other. We are happy to share what we know about vegan cooking, gardening, and family life, and we are curious to learn from your experiences, too. For us, Workaway is not just about getting help, but about creating an exchange where both sides enjoy and grow.
