We are Wendelin (60) and Franz (68), settled in Holperdorp (northwestern Germany) since 20 years. We earn our living as artists (ceramist and glassblower).
Besides, we like to enjoy the peaceful nature around us with friends and beers, contribute to collective projects in Lienen (like helping Syrian refugees), go to some concert/ cinema in the next town - Osnabrück - 15 km from our house.
On many aspects, we produce what we consume: vegetables, fruits, meat ,wood for the winter, . This year, we would appreciate some workforce support.
We speak German, Spanish, French, English. Write us, and see you in Holperdorp!

If you're interested in DIY, we can show and teach you plenty of methods in every aspect: building, cooking, farming, gardening. We have travelled a lot in Europe, South America and Africa, and like to learn about different cultures. We would like to practice Spanish / French but also guitar.
This project could involve children. For more information see our guidelines and tips here.
We are looking for people willing to stay in our pleasant place and help us 3 to 4 hours a day. You will be able to choose among a wide range of activities: wood cutting, vegetables and fruits seeding / picking, taking care of the sheeps, and some everyday stuff (building maintenance, painting, etc.).

We offer independent rooms fully furnished and a romantic sleeping-caravan, access to kitchen, some shared meals (Franz is an excellent cook).
We live close to Bad Iburg, Lienen and the big city, Osnabrück. There you can get direct trains and buses to most German and Dutch cities. However be careful, don't expect a crazy nightlife! Nearby there is no bar, shop, restaurant or village. The first village with bus station (Bad Iburg) lies at 3 km, and the train station is at 15 km. We will pick you up at the railway station or bus station, but to enjoy your stay here you have to feel comfortable with the deep countryside: listening to sounds of nature, reading a book under a tree, walking through the forest, or just watching the sky.....
