Description
We hope to see you soon!
Hi, my name is Giulia and I live with my one-and-a-half-year-old daughter Gea in the Bolognese Apennines. Our house is surrounded by greenery and is 30 minutes from Bologna by train (it takes 15 minutes by car to get to the station or 30 minutes by bicycle if you are fit).
I work as a psychologist and art therapist and am very passionate about these disciplines, to which I devote my study and dedication. I love art, creativity and meeting people in all its forms. I am trying to support Gea in her growth by encouraging her curiosity and interaction with others, and I believe that meeting people who travel as a way of life can help Gea open her little eyes to the world.
We are looking for respectful and kind people to share our home with. We live with our cat Missy in a small village where there are five other families (each family has their own house and there are shared green spaces).
The house has two floors and requires routine maintenance, cleaning and feeding the wood-burning stove. Our day starts at 7 a.m. Gea goes to nursery and has her own regular babysitter. I may need a few hours of babysitting in the afternoon, but only occasionally.
The main request is help with household chores, meal preparation (we are vegetarian-vegan) and small maintenance jobs if you know how to do them (putting up shelves, painting furniture, doing a bit of babysitting and, of course, PLAYING!). Gea loves books, music, drawing and walking in the woods.
Digital nomads are welcome (if you work a lot, we can agree on a fee), but if you want to volunteer, the hours could be breakfast and dinner. A minimum stay of one week and an introductory video call are required.
If you have non-vegetarian dietary requirements, we ask that you take care of your own shopping.
We hope to meet you soon!Types of help and learning opportunities

🛠️ What we need help with:
Preparing simple vegetarian or vegan meals
Grocery shopping and general help around the house
Helping with the wood stove (lighting and maintaining the fire, especially during colder months)
Keeping the home clean and organized
Occasional babysitting for Gea – she loves drawing, listening to music, and reading books
Gea goes to school during the day, so you'll also have plenty of free time to explore the area, relax, or focus on your own projects.Languages
