This corner of Normandie is green, spacious and calme. When I first came here I knew this is where I wanted to be. I share my space with two cats, 4 sheep and some chickens, they roam free. And of course with lot's of birds and many other animals and insects that live here.

My home is really in the countryside. It is 40 minutes from the coast and le Mont Saint Michel. There's local markets and nice towns to visit. Every now and then with a group of friends in the area we get together and help each other with projects; It's fun and great to meet people. My place is an ongoing work in progress, I try to do as much possible myself. So it takes time but it is already a wonderful space to live and to just be. Besides gardening and diy, I work as an illustrtator and writer. I love drawing and painting and have done so for as long as I can remember and professionally for about 25 years now. I alway find it interesting and inspiring to learn how other people see this place. And to hear where you're from and what your dreams are.

With a big terrain there's always plenty to do. The sheep keep a large part of the grass short, but some occassional mowing is done. On a patch where the sheep can't come I grow some veg and fruits. In spring and summer there's lot's to do in the garden; like weeding, keeping pathways clear, mowing, some maintenance on the fence that is made from branches, simple diy projects and... snacking on raspberries and blackberries (depending on the season).

There is a small caravane available to sleep in. It has a 120x190 cm bed and the possibilty to fold the sitting area into another sleep space with the same size. In one of the buildings I have a kitchen you can use and this is also where you find the bathroom with a shower. If you like, there is an outside cold shower. I offer one warm meal a day and coffee and tea. Also, depending on the season and produce, there is food from the garden to share. And it's also possible if you would like to do the cooking by the way.
